A day at the farm by ZenriS
Game Info: A day at the farm is a survivor farming game, you are farming Blood Flowers, the only way to get seed for this flower is to buy it for your local vampire shop. You guest is they only let you pay with blood, but you eating Blood Flower gives you blood back.
The ground in this area is very bad, so you have to fertilize the ground before you can plant, once a plot has been fertilized in can support a few plants before you have to do it again.
When a flower is fully grown it will pop off the ground, Blood Flowers are very delicate, so pick the up quickly before they vanish
You will get attacked by monsters, when a monster hits you you lose blood. Be careful so you don’t bleed out. You can see your blood and seed count in the top left corner.
The vampire shop don’t only sell seeds, it also has a few upgrades and if you get enough blood you can buy your freedom.
Keep in mind, your body can only have so much blood inside it, luckily the vampire shop is also your local blood bank, so deposit some blood if you are near your max. When you buy something the price will first be subtracted from your blood bank account.

This is not my greatest game and sadly I didn’t have a lot of time for balancing, but I had fun and learned a lot, hope at least some of you have some fun playing it hehe.

I wish there was an upgrade to increase the capacity of blood I could carry. It was rough to have 10 plots of land but feel like I couldn't really make good use of them because I could only carry 100 blood at a time.
Similar to @worai, it took me a couple of tries in order to understand all the ins and outs. The procedurally generated music became annoying to me after a while so thank you for the music volume slider, much appreciated! :)
I also expected the blood dropped from my enemies to play some part into the mechanic, but if it can be collected I didn't figure out how. If it can't be collected, I wouldn't have included those bloodstains at all.
The art is very basic, and commits the crime of differently scaled sprites. (I feel like I am always pointing that out in my comments ) The palette feels a little like it's all *standard colors*, if you get what I mean - the browns and greens are very saturated and don't mix well.
I enjoyed the music, it's a nice composition, but I am not sure the bass sound (which is a bit of a shrill sound) fits with it. The orchestral parts are quite good, but the drums and bass I would've left out. The sound effects were all kind of harsh-sounding.
All in all, I kind of like these entries more than ones I can just say "nice work, no flaws" to, as I get to analyze and comment more elaborately. Keep it up!
Fun: Yep! Fun and addictive! I think it would be even more addictive with a few small balance tweaks. I have no idea how to use all 8 available plots, I can't move fast enough to harvest the blood from more than 2. Maybe if the plants grew slower? And also maybe freedom should be more expensive?
Innovation: I think that the "action gardening" idea is pretty innovative!
Theme: Yes
Graphics: Kinda gaudy
Audio: In my opinion this sort of randomly generated music sounds OK but is not very memorable.
Humor: Sure, I laughed at the silly concept
Mood: Kind of intense at the same time as being silly.
