I would have liked a more dynamic gameplay, especially when jumping from/to cars, but otherwise, the game is well executed, simple enough, and plays very well. Overall a great entry ! Congratulations !

I thought this was so hard. That's not bad, it's just how it is. The only thing that irked me slightly was when i figured out that I could die if i go off screen, but the ENEMIES do not. :( i worked hard to get him on that car and drive him off screen, but he didn't die. lol xD Very cool game, love the concept, and the art and motion is saweet.

Thanks, everyone! @fluffy-kaeloky What exactly are you hoping for in terms of dynamism? I had to keep it simple to finish in a jam timeframe, but I'd love to extend this with various types of attacks and special powers. @commanderstitch Sorry you had a hard time with it! If I extend this, the camera will stay on the character, but for now I just had it kill you if you go off screen because I couldn't think of a better answer that would work in the time limit. Thanks for playing!

@pyrian By dynamic, I mostly meant a smidge faster. I personally would have liked for the jump to feel like a real fast jump, faster cars to offer more possibilities etc ... Overall faster is what I meant. Still, it is perfectly understandable to keep it simple for a jam ;)

Well played! That was awesome. At first, I was distracted a lot by the lines and speed of the cars, but once I got used to it and learned to transfer to front and back using different lines, then it was a pleasure to play. Good job'

Love it! It's like a Futuristic Frogger haha. Would have maybe liked to hear some more original music (those Kevin MacLeod creative commons tracks tend to get reused everywhere lol). Let me know If you ever in need some music & sfx for game. Cheers and great work!

This is brilliant! When I got knocked off a car but landed safely on the car that just happened to be passing I was so pumped. It's a great take on the Frogger mechanic. Thanks for a really fun entry.

Good stuff :8ball:

At first I thought it was just a frogger clone with a twist, but man.. I didn't saw the ennemies haha. When you understand the gameplay mechanics it's so much fun. Made it to level 4 but then was overwhelmed and too stressed to make good choices.
Really fun, and the audio and arts are good too.
Good job man, keep it up !

Thanks again, everyone! @amerigo-gazaway Thanks! Yeah, I just threw that in at the last minute real quick. Think you could do something reminiscent of the music to Spy Hunter but more cyberpunk? The reactions are positive enough that I'd like to extend this game with upgrades and more enemies and stuff. @darriasart Thanks ahaha that is so awesome, can I quote you on the itch page and promotional materials? Lol.

@pyrian Nice! Would love to take a stab at it. Not sure if your referring to the main theme from Spy Hunter (Peter Gunn theme) or something else from the soundtrack. Can you send me a couple reference tracks to listen to get a better idea? (maybe one from Spy Hunter and something more cyberpunk?) My email is amerigomusic@gmail.com.

Nice game as stress relief! But I got a bit of dizziness after a while playing. I hope the main character could be a bit larger and more noticable.

Maybe with a closer camera zoom, and let it follow player? Not sure how it would affect the gameplay.

And a juicy sfx when you managed to kick the enemy would be nice!

@pyrian Would something like this work? Here's an example of a Cyberpunk style music track I created: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pt7euorswgsp1r5/Cyborg%20Highway%20Patrol.wav?dl=0. Or are you looking for something with more of a spy-movie element in the mix?(this approach usually involves leaning more heavily on big band/jazz style sounds/instruments, guitars, strings horn sections etc)

Great concept! Simple but original. I think this would benefit from a clearer graphical representation. I found following the player and enemies is an eye strain. For example, make them bigger and contrast better with the cars.

I love the concept for this. Ironically, it's much easier than frogger, and that's a good thing- i appreciate it letting me hone in on cars when i jump to them.

This game is a lot of fun! It's game play is solid and mechanics exiting. I didn't really run into any problems but perhaps instead of waves enemies could constantly spawn so there wasn't a frantic chase with the last enemy.

Beautiful presentation, game explanation is straight to the point. The noise amuses me when I get kicked off of a car hahahaha Good job!! :)

Really cool game, I wish the car speeds were random as it would have made it more difficult and interesting.
