I have so far managed to do EIGHTEEN Ludum Dare game compos IN A ROW! My first was Ludum Dare 26 — April 26-29th, 2013 and I haven't missed one since.

However... now it has been reduced to twice a year, one of the weekends that was picked happens to be the time that all my family have their birthdays. My daughters was yesterday, my dad's is today, mine tomorrow etc... so I felt bummed out that I could not participate in the 48 hour compo.

However...I created this game in a few spare hours to submit as a token submission to keep my streak going :) Happy Birthday Everyone! This is PepperTony.

PepperTony is a Pepper Grinder called Tony. Jump around and pepper the cheese on toast, but watch out! the pepper is also his life...currency...

Jump and Grind with Space / A and drop pepper. Your pepper is also your currency and your life.

Wow I suck at this game. I need to git gud.

But yeah like what you've done with the theme; an interesting and unexpected idea. Also the sounds and music are great (love the little sneeze when you pepper a toast correctly).

My main criticism is that I'm not entirely sure how you're supposed to pepper the toasts on the end. I keep falling off 'cause I can't get back fast enough and I still don't have enough reach.

Nice game overall however.

@mika-la-grand Hey! Sorry about that. No idea what is going on there. Works on the three systems I have tested it on. Many apologies! I will upload a video of it soon.

@limejuice123 Thanks :) Honestly, I am surprised it is even playable. I threw it together so fast. It's possible to complete it as I saw my wife do it :)

A nice little game, given how few time you got to make it. I liked the music and the sounds, they are very funny :)

Your game have some "love". I liked the most the "will scream"-like thing. hehehe. Its a nice idea, you could do more levels like sending the toats to the toaster and stuff. Good Job!

I caught myself dancing with Tony(left-right-left-right) to the rhythm of the song while waiting for the platform to pass. This was fun. Thanks!

I honestly have no idea how to play this, the pepper just disappears in the air, it never gets near the toast. I'll get back to this game if you could tell me what I'm doing wrong hahaha :laughing:

Amazing for two hours, especially as compo! Bit of an abstract implementation of the theme (on the "currency" part), but had fun playing it. Looking forward to the next jam with you ;-)
