Is there a macOS version? Or webGL version would work too, I want to try your game out

Pretty cool, but IDK how collectors work, balance needs some work

Nice little game. The collectors kept getting stuck on the defense towers. Otherwise than that, some solid game play there. Nice work for a weekend.

sweet concept! the core gameplay was fun, had a blast slaughtering the soldiers. The camera movement felt a little sluggish, some extra control like panning with a middle mouse click might be nice. Also although no doubt there wasn't time for it I thinnk in the future some map background would go a long way. you should be proud of what you accomplished

@bartman I am sorry, I haven't bought a GM:S(1) license, so there are no exports except Windows available to me.

@oddsocks workers are not fully automated, they collect or hunt only in a radius of 256 pixels and are good at getting stuck in your base

@bramreth panning with middle mouse? once thought I am old school X) I think i will add something like that next time, good idea. In truth I lost tons of time to real live nonsens, but Ludum Dare would not be the same without it ;)

thank you all for playing :dvd:

Nice game! Some problems: It's too easy, some more challenges would be cool. The workers behave weirdly, Slowing in buildings is quite frustrating. Also, too bad there's no winning screen! The art is fine. Good job!

Making an RTS game for Ludum Dare is a bold choice in itself. Really it's one of the hardest genres you could pick. The player unit AI was quite good. I liked the two different types of enemies and the enemy mechanics were themselves well done. The controls were familiar enough to Starcraft that I could figure them out with no major issues.

Getting stuck on enemies and a somewhat confusing unit build system were my two biggest issues. It seemed like the progress bar wouldn't start until like 5s after I clicked the button and there wasn't a construction queue. Fixing these two issues would unlock a ton of potential in the game.

I'm a big fan of RTS, so it's nice (and impressive) too see one (or the base of one) here ^^. I must admit I didn't dare to do it myself (I thought it would take too much time). Well done :)
