A top-down view game with pseudo 3D graphics. This is about a purple knight named Kommander Kork. He revels in the slaying of the teal knights, his sworn enemies. The reason why is how he gets stronger, his blade more powerful, the more health he has. He gains the health of his enemies as he slays them, traveling into the teal knight fortress. Once he is in the core of the base, there is no telling what he could do. Guide him using WASD, with space to jump, and the mouse to hit.

Fixes

  • Damage is now indicated by sounds and overlay

  • Enemy damage is lowered, their hitbox is larger

  • Enter button is indicated in menu screen, this is fun.

  • Music is more dynamic

Oh. What don't you understand about it?

Holy, that sound is massively annoying. Attacking seems to be weird, sometimes the player does not attack and just dies.

Another thing which is strange, is that after loading the game you have to press enter to start. Didn't see a notice or something, so I press WSAD or space, but nothing happened. Thought, the game is not working.

However, I like that it's only 3 MB in size!

Very nice. The pseudo-3d looks really great!

The gameplay is responsive, and all of the audio/visual feedback makes it very clear what is going on! Was I supposed to be able to spam attacks (I'm not complaining, made it a bit more fun that way actually). Additionally, the end-of-level particle effect looked great!

My one bit of feedback is that it was tough to initially tell the difference between the walls and the bits of blue that do damage.

You might want to have a bit more difference between wall color and floor color. Its hard to tell what is what first starting out.

The color scheme probably isn't the best because the colors are close together. I'm not colorblind but I could see a colorblind person having issues with this. That being said, I found the gameplay to be fun. Well done!

Nice little game, but what to do when you defeated the teal army?
Visually very well done!

Well, you enter the shiny portal. I probably should have made where you need to touch it bigger so there is less confusion. It has a bunch of particles flying out at the end of a level.

Fun slasher with original and good graphics. I have a little note for jumping across blue hurting stripes (water? some kind of electricity?). When they're vertical, it's ok, but jumping down or up somehow doesn't work or at least not as I would expect it to. Even if I hold down and press jump right before the obstacle I end up on it instead of behind it. I guess it has to do with the pseudo-3D thing. The effect on the top and the sound made curious about what it actually is, creates a bit of a mystery. Otherwise nice flowy-bloomy visual effects.
Also I didn't really notice that my damage increased after level finish but that might be because the enemies were so easy to kill.

Looks quite good and the controls are fine for me.

First I had troubles to figure out that I had to jump over the blue lines, but then it was easy.

The only thing that I had trouble with, was to jump over horizontal blue lines. This somehow didn't work for me.
