there is a lot of good content (audio/art) ! main character could need a longer range on his attacks though, GG

I enjoyed this game a lot. The main character felt good to control, and I liked the special abilities. I felt like the enemies were not very fun to fight though. I found myself often running in circles to group enemies into an area and then spamming specials to clear them out. If the fight was in a smaller arena, and if the enemies were less numerous but each individual enemy was more powerful, I think this game could be really good.

Well put together! The bodies of the little red enemies seems to hurt you. If that's what was intended, great! Message received. I thought the ghost healing was an attack at first and stayed away. Great work!

Interesting game but I'll say that the menu art and ingame art look really inconsistent, the enemy variety and gameplay was well introduced but artwork as extremely inconsistente, as powerups had this vectorish art and enemies/player/scenario is pixel art.

Maybe I'm being a bit rough but following your credits a CONSIDERABLE amount of people worked on this little game.

Absorbed by the pixel art. Nice game.

too many long-range attack enemies, so it feels really bad to move my fingers from WASD to 123 when my screen is full of bullets, maybe press space,shift or QE for pacts will be better. And I agree with the art inconsistency problem, it looks like a morden fashion guy fights inside a middle ages castle using magic? The start menu also looks like a totally different game

Great game! the mechanics of the three hit combo were satisfying. Had a little difficulty using the spells int he heat of battle sometimes, but overall very impressive, natural-feeling combat. Especially for a jam game!

Nice. Very moody game.

The balancing was absolutely on point, it seems like it was well tested.
Wish there was more to the game content-wise though.

Pretty nice combat system! The special attacks are cool too. The projectiles are a bit too small, so it's hard to notice them and dodge.

The game seem nice...HUGE credits screen, but hard to play, I don't know if I've played the jam version or the updated 1.1, but i had hard time in correctly do the action at the desired direction. I could be looking left, but when dash, the girl dash right, and could be looking right and when i use the weapon it hit at the other direction. Which made me die fast, and die a lot.

Music and mood were nice btw!

Very polished. I like the art quite a lot. Combat is very satisfying . I didn't find the spells too useful though. I think the spells should either execute immediately after pressing the buttons or show the AOE range.

@jayometric Thank you for the feedback! The damage after death was not intended, we fixed it for the next version. We added the info about the ghost not damaging you on the tutorial, thanks for telling us how you felt playing our game!

@svntax You were right, we increased the size of the skeleton projectiles, thank you for the input!

@mamoniem Hmm, that's strange, are you playing on OSX? We couldn't test that platform because none of us have a Mac xP.

Woah, big team here! I liked this game, it's so complete and has a good gameplay! Also the art it's lovely, and the animations are super smoooooths.

Things I didn't like:

- The background in the menus was a bit annoying :( You could follow your own artstyle!
- I think I had a visual problem... Sometimes, in random frames, I had in my screen black holes. I think I took the right version but...
- I needed thouse FX's for the habilities. But nice try!

Things I liked:

- Animations.
- Habilities and pixel art.
- Atmosphere that you have created
- Music it's clean and good, doesn't sound repetitive.

In overall great game! @eduardo-yukio your improving it's awsome! I will try to visit all the other components of the team. GG!

I will do this in your own style because I've seen you do this on quite some games :wink:

Things I didn't like:
* The sword animation is just a bit smaller than your actual range.
* The character has to stand still while hitting enemies.
* The pacts are a little hard to use. Maybe trigger eruption instantly and add some visual aid for aminig the fireball and beam?

Things I liked:
* The art is nice
* Animations look good
* Audio helps a lot
* You created an interesting atmosphere
* Different enemies make the game more challenging and interesting

Huge team! Glad you managed to coordinate everything. Overall nice game!

Huge team :O Must have been hard to divide tasks. Animations, audio and art are great. For some reason the name and the cover were misleading - didn't expect a hack-and-slash wave defender (if that's how they are called) - don't get me wrong, it was fun! Well done!

@mrtnldm You're definitely right, we added some ingame screenshots to clarify. I loved your way of describing our game, I'm gonna put it in the description too haha, thank you very much for the feedback!

@nigogo The visual aid would be awesome indeed, it hasn't even crossed our minds to do it, we'll certainly be more aware in the next games! Thanks for the kind words!

@carpin Thank you very much for the comment! Yeah, those black squares happened with one of our members, we are almost sure that it was caused by his Windows desktop wallpaper changing automatically, bizarre xP.

I'm flattered that you two used my style of comments, it was unexpected for sure hahaha.

Hey, thanks everyone for all the feedback! It took all of us in the team a lot of effort to put it out, so we're glad that you like it!

As most people pointed out, our team was huge! We are a group of passionate people, and we do it mostly to learn and improve as devs. Lots of people on the team were newcomers making their first actual game, me included. Coordinating wasn't easy, we were overwriting each other's code all the time and communication was rough. Most of the issues pointed out were caused by cutting content that we didn't had time to implement, such as bulkier enemies, a better spell UI and the inconsistent art. We tried our best, and it makes me very happy to see that most of you liked it!

@mamoniem She always attacks were the cursor is pointing, and you have to be moving in the direction you want to dash, otherwise she will dash down. Maybe that was what you were experiencing?

That's some high quality LD entry!
I like how you gradually explain game mechanics in the game, it's rare for a game made in jam to have tutorial. The gameplay is fun and there was some weight to the choice between HP and restoring mana / soul since on later waves using skills is super useful. Fighting, dodging, kiting and utilize your skills is really fun and rewarding. I also like how many different enemies there are.

One thing that could be improved is maybe making projectiles more visible - they kinda blend with the background. And maybe somehow highlighting what skill is currently selected would be nice - at first it was kinda confusing to know what skill am I using and if next click will do the desired effect or not.

Great entry overall, fun to play and really well made.

@zeriver You're definitely right about the spells, one person here on the post commented that we should've done a visual aid and I think it would've fixed the issue you noticed too.

We thought deeply about the tutorial, I'm really, very happy that you liked it! Thank you very much for your words!

Cool game! I like how the normal attack had a bit of range on it so you don't have to be on top of the enemy to get a hit in. Nice polish, great work!

Good job on this! Very polished game. You did a particularly good job on the onboarding.
