WE'RE HIRING !

LIFEintro01.png

At LIFE Corp, we only value one thing : the human Life.

That's why we made the L.I.F.E, what does it stands for ?

Low Intelligence For Explosives !

or was it Lazy Ice Force Experiment ?

or maybe Luxury and Impressive Fighting Excellence ?

...

Whatever.

Unfortunately, these ultra-armed protection robots went kind of crazy. That's why we're searching for the most badass handymen we can get.

Try to short circuit as many L.I.F.E robots as you can.

Watch for their control panel on their back.

Each L.I.F.E you put down gives you a reward.

Play it now ! (still more levels to make though)

(original version made in 48h for the jam)

Controls :

 • WASD : walking

 • Shift : running

 • Space : jump

 • Mouse : controls the camera

Good Luck.

Just played it! I thought it was a really neat idea and was super fun! It took some time figuring everything out but in the end it was really satisfactory. Can't wait to play the next levels! My only suggestion would be to make the jump duration controllable - if I hold down space I jump further.

So the concept is fun, I got a bit annoyed not being able to move much while jumping or jump higher if I hold it longer. But de movement and camera look also sound effects were nice and the graphics of course. so 4/5 great job. If you would like to check out my game too :v:

Cool idea for a game, like the style and graphics. I felt like the controls were a bit too floaty and it was difficult to guide the player

@fidrik thanks for the feedback, I'll try to improve this "floaty" behavior!

The Jam version didn't work for me, but I managed to play an updated one.
Let's start with music! It matches the sci-fi setting nicely and adds suspense. Robot designs are great too, and the style of graphics reminds me of Avara, which was a great game at the time. Presentation is great, especially for the first Jam!
The gameplay could be so much nicer with better physics. Jumping is floaty and very difficult, maybe it's the low gravity planet or something, but it is not satisfying at all. Running isn't much better than jumping. I believe that in a game about running and jumping these two activities should be fine-tuned. If you can do that, I think players will be able to take on many robots at once with better physics, and it would be lots of fun!
