I really like the aesthetics, nice touch with the crowd feedback, had me caring about my fame level. The gameplay was simple but worked well. Main room for improvement I think would be clearer feedback on when you're able to dash again.

This is one of the better games i have seen so far,
The Fame meter was very small and i didn't notice it until the 5th or so round.

The music was Incredible, I Played for much longer just to listen to it!

Very nice choices on where to place detail, such as the text from the crowd and the solid controls. It makes for a very fun experience!

Like the pixel art and audio
The dash mechanic is interesting - feel like this would play better with a controller, though.

The crowd reactions and fame meter are neat, and really flavour-ful. I think this could be developed into something really cool - what's here all fits together really well, although not totally with the LDJAM theme (feels more like "fame is currency" than "life is currency"...)

Really good game, the dash/attack is very well done and a nice idea! Not difficult commands, smooth and it's entertaining ^^ i had a bit of trouble when the dash wasn't ready but at least my fame-meter was at the stars!

Nice work! The dashing felt really good. If you don't only get the fame items you are a COWARD.

This was excellent. The comments in the crowd totally make it. I was having a blast and someone said "yawn" and I was like... WHAT THE HELL!??! and I am happy I was that into it that it triggered that emotion :D Great work!

Very cool idea! Dash attack is always a fun mechanic, nice to see a whole combat system based around it!

I had a blast, played through a few times, got myself up to Champion. I liked that I felt like I could have done better, and every time I got hit it was my own fault.

If I were fiddling with this, I might test out a couple of small tweaks to see how they played: the cooldown on my dash is super-important info and can change, so I'd like a really clear indicator; I find the enemies a bit tanky, leading to a situation where I have to grind them down with a repeated loop of actions, especially the shooty guy, I wonder how it would play if they just had less HP; I got hit most often by the bigger green melee enemy, I felt like his attack range was a little bigger than the graphics indicate and I thought I was out of range but got hit.

This is a cool entry, I've played arena-fighter games before, but the dash thing creates a cool combat system that uses the space in an interesting way.

The art, sound, and music were nice, and the crowd comments were a really nice touch.

Well done!

@mrspeaker Hey! We ran into some display issues with the WebGL integration of the game in itch.io unfortunately. This is why it is not shown on the page, sorry :(

Our WebGL build runs wells outside itch.io and we were even able to make an Android post-jam version without much difficulties so this is a bit strange for us. We'll try to make an entry that works directly in the browser next time!

Spectators comments are awesome and very funny!

The dash feels good to use, and is a nice mechanic; however, it allows to easily kite enemies, making getting to God and beyond a bit too easy :)

Overall, well done! :D

I had fun with this one. I wish the game had a dash recharge meter or some other indicator, especially with variable cooldown time as a mechanic. here is my final scoresheet:![scoreboard.PNG](///raw/459/z/24961.png)
