I've considered doing a fan game for many LDs but couldn't find a way to fit it in with the theme. This does somewhat well.
I like the graphics, even for "programmer art" it did it's job well. The concept of the game is good.
I found the control layout to be a little odd, being so used to WASD for platformers. Guaging the striking distance to hit enemies was a bit though.

Haha, wouldn't expected this much fun, the hitboxes are a bit hard to hit but it's a nice game. Really cool programmer art also :D

Good job on this game! It was definitely fun, although frustrating at times, and it was super addicting- I didn't stop playing until i had enough creatures that I could have sold them and won but got hit by the weakest enemy and the game and died, at which point I just gave up. It wasn't the most innovative of games, but it worked. The theme was pretty weak here- their lives are currency worked okay, but the fact that your life was unrelated to your currency didn't really cut it for me. The relatively poor quality graphics worked well for the meme-game aesthetic that you had going here, an aesthetic that earned you 4.5 stars in humor and 4 stars in mood from me. I have no criticisms with the audio- the sound effects gave the player feedback whenever it was needed and the music definitely worked. Overall, this game earns a 4 star rating from me. Well done!

The audio and visual presentation is good. The game play is enjoyable. There isn't a whole lot to say, it's just a pretty good game.

I started out disliking the high knock back on the base weapon, I felt it pushed creatures too far back. Then I got the knock back upgrade. While it did lead to a couple frustrating moments of having enemies sent overly far away from me, I came to love the fact that it sent them to the moon while doing it. Wouldn't change a thing!

Good job on this one folks!

The controls were a little slow for me and the knock-back was a bit annoying but all that said I was pretty enjoyable and played well overall!
Also the background music was pretty cool and worked well with the theme of the game. Nice work

This is an enjoyable little game.

The controls took some getting used to, but I picked them up eventually. I liked the differences in movement between various creatures, but was there any difference in gold value?

Didn't expected this game making so much fun! Very cool idea, and of course Shrek at his best. the hitbox of the attack was at the beginning a bit weird, especially for hitting the fairies
