Invest the lives of your followers in different recruitment schemes to grow your cult and fuel sacrifices to reach immortality!Acculting.png

Invest followers in the stock market to try and gain more followers. However, you are constantly aging, and if you reach 79 years old, you die! Each level brings with it new investment opportunities as well as new gods. You may sacrifice followers to the gods to lower your age, but remember to keep a good balance between your number of followers and your age. Each god and investment opportunity bring about different advantages and disadvantages, so be sure to test them all out!

I really like this concept. We entertained the idea of going with something similar early on. You incorporated the theme really well. I do wish there was more visualization/the potential to automate stuff though

Very easy to pick up and an interesting concept. I like how you only start with one type and add as you progress, it makes it less daunting to get into. I was engaged enough to try and keep track on my own, but as the previous comment said, there could be automation that makes the game a little more friendly later on.

I really like the concept you've got here, definitely a cool use of the theme! My biggest criticisms are that I was never really sure how to play and the visuals fell a bit short. I tried for about 15 minutes to figure the gameplay out, but for the life of me I couldn't get anywhere. Overall, very cool concept!

A tip for the visuals, I think you might've forgotten to set your canvas objects to scale to resolution, because the entire UI was super tiny on my screen.

I like this a lot more than I thought I would. The gameplay is deeply simple but also super engrossing. My biggest complaint is I wish the "you died" screen told you how many followers you had at the end (possibly including your net worth at that moment if you cashed out at your death).

Maybe I'm dumb, but I couldn't figure out why none of the buttons refused to work. I could only have 10 followers, and my age kept increasing no matter how many times I pressed the Sell or Buy buttons. I really like the graph, though.

Interesting take on the theme! I understood the basic idea of buying low and selling high but beyond that I was not really sure what was happening. I enjoyed just trying to play the market but it wasn't clear what any of the buttons to the left were really doing. Solid idea though and with a bit more fleshing out it could be good!

@quasar47 @rhoka Thanks for the feedback! The buttons on the left are the "gods" - they make you younger, but you have to sacrifice a certain number of followers to them in order to do so. Each one has different stats, so you'resupposed to try them all out and see which one works best in each situation. :)

@taylomol000 Ah ok that makes sense. It seemed to me like the lady in white just kept giving me followers and lowering my age so I just kept clicking her. Not sure if I missed something or was just cheating haha.
