Dental Dosh Your teeth are made of Gold!!

Strategy style game where you use teeth as money to buy towers. Enemies who reach the end take teeth from you. You are trying to defend your mouth from oncoming enemies - plaque, bacteria and ulcers. You start each level with a certain amount of TEETH. Use the teeth wisely by building tooth towers.

You control the character instead of the usual clicking on locations. The white circles indicate where the towers need to be placed.

Unfortunately the levels are the same with variations of enemies and the gameplay is a bit samey but working alone with limited time it's an achievement. Please excuse any bugs you come across. :D

Hey, good work!
The idea is very fitting to the theme, and the art is appealing!

My only comment is regarding the controls (maybe because i am using keyboard), it isnt very clear what is the object you are interacting with.

Gettinng out of the game in between (for restart purposes) didn't work for me. And the walking around wouldn't be necessary in a tower defense game I guess? Otherwise: Well done indeed :)

the problems i find with it is that there is limited towers to put,
didnt actually get what i pay for the tower,
and there is no actual reason to buy lower tier tower because you can but the strongest from start.
then even with all 4 towers i didnt actually cleared all the monster they just seem strong enough.
maybe iam missing something?

anyway pretty good and solid :D

The fire rate stat is confusing (is a higher number faster or slower?), and the towers overall feel really underpowered and sluggish.

There was so much information on the screen during the levels so it took a while to really be able to fully enjoy the game especially because the waves of enemies started coming so quickly when you started a level (maybe there could have been a button to start the waves).

Overall it was pretty enjoyable after you got the gist of it all!

Thanks for the feedback.
@miroreflect @spotted-metal you are right UI is confusing, I would have to change that. I didn't have time for animations etc to make the towers look clear enough. Or throw projectiles clearly

@tiffi For the controls I wanted to go for the pixeljunk monsters style of tower defense that's why there's a character walking around. Also The enemies are supposed to drop teeth when they are destroyed and you pick them up.

I'm with the previous comments the UI is a little confusing and controls using keyboard too. But I liked your idea, good work. =)
