Wow! I really like the idea of using chickens in game. Love the graphics of chickens and wheat/water. Fun game, congrats on finishing it on your own. Only thing that i would change would be the chicken sound, it sounds like a youtube chicken remix or something like that, chickens are way more adorable than that! Besides that, enjoyed it!

We have had the same idea!! I have been vegetarian for almost 20 years and when the theme was announced it comes immediately to my mind. I have found also quite difficult to portrait the animal cruelty in this kind of farms, so I understand you.

The sound is quite annoying, but I Like the pixel art models. I also found it… “tense” somehow, trying to avoid the hooks while trying to not starve to death.

A fun and arcady game with a clear objective (which apparently can't be taken for granted). The take on the theme was definitely cool and I enjoyed the game overall. The thing I ended up wondering about is where you got the chicken sound from :b

Thanks for the feedback guys. I got the chicken sounds from a video of a "Chicken Farm" i visited a few years ago.

I actually laughed and then felt bad about it. Fun little game, easy to pick up and play.
