I like the sprites (and sticking to a GameBoy palette), but I feel meat/blood should be more distinct from bad stuff.
The feeling of going fast is cool, but up/down feels slightly sluggish.

Amazing graphics! Love the take on theme with a vampire and blood, that's pretty creative.

This was cool! I found it really difficult to distinguish between what was blood and what was bad. For example, I thought the little jars were jars of blood for a bit before I realized they were holy water. :face_palm:

I agree with damantisshrip on the graphics, I like them too. As well as her expressions and the sounds. And that up and down movement feels sluggsish. I had a little trouble at first figuring out what the water was. But the second playthrough I got it. Was fun to play though.

I like the aesthetics of this game. The old-style visuals added a lot. I would suggest making the good items more distinguished from the bad ones though. It was tough at first to determine what I needed to avoid vs what I needed to get. Overall, great experience. Nice work.

I'm so bad. 80% of my restarts start with a piece of flying junk to the face. The pallette is nice but some of the sprites are too similar. Its really easy to get confused when trying to go faster than the default speed. Fair jam game.

Great sprites! I wish they were different colors so I can tell them apart better.

Simple but really effective game! Easy to pick up, and hard to put down-- I really like the aesthetics as well! One suggestion I have is to maybe have the character's hitbox be a bit smaller, since there were a lot of instances where I ended up grabbing 3-5 different objects without being able to dodge them. Other than that, great job!

@nathaniel-jensen I really could coz TIC-80 allow 16 colors, but idk, I stick to my didi4 gb palette. (It cross my mind to add 4 purple-ish colors tho)

Nice job, I like art, however, there aren't enough sounds in the game which could have made it a little bit better. Also, why does she hate chicken?

@artyom-volkov I agree I tryed to add some noises and music but I dont get the tracker yet (TIC80 has built-in tracker). She likes chiken!

My high score was about 1000. I really like the graphics, they're quite appealing to me. The gameplay is good but if there is one thing I'd say is that the power ups should look different than the power downs. If that was the case this would be one of those games where you get into "the zone" and never stop playing. Well done GG.

I like this! The art is really charming - it took me a while to figure out what one or two of the things were (I guess I don't know what garlic looks like), but the pixel art is really well rendered. Nice work.

Lovely little game! I like the mechanics and the controls feel really nice. At first I was confused that I cold not clearly know which items were good and which were bad but after a while I thought it made the game more interesting. I also loved the little booting up animation at the start, that was an awesome touch!

The game is cool and all, and i get the game boy theme but it's really hard to know which object to pick up and which to avoid, maaybe add an aura, or just change color.

Cool graphics, gameplay was a bit repetitive as expected from an arcade style game. If I had any specific critique it would be that sometimes it is just not possible to avoid taking a hit, and sometimes you start by taking one or even multiple hits before you have a chance to react. Cool project overall
