Ancient Techno-ology by elli

[raw]
made by elli for LD36 (JAM)
an 'ancient' embarks on a study of techno...

this was my first LD! my main aim was to make something 'cohesive' that i could submit and didn't crash :)

i did not make the music, merely carefully curated it from the realms of open licensed loops out there - i'll stick up credits when i get chance.

You you did the music: props to you!
It was surprisingly fun, altho not really a game.

Excellent sound design and the commentary is really funny. I ended up getting stuck on a corner (I think it was after I picked up the third CD) and could only rotate, but I ended up just sitting there rotating and enjoying the music for a bit. Good stuff.

I've been leaving fairly in depth reviews, but for this game, I don't even know what I just played, but I know I enjoyed it.

Music was catchy and I liked how you could find collectibles to change it. There was a lot of techno here but not sure about the ancient part :P.

Game had a Q'Bert-esque feel to it. The colors/electro blurs where both distracting yet eye catching.

Good soundtrack, but i think that the controls aren't precise, they could be improved.

really good soundtrack. wish there was more than two levels.... and maybe some more depth the game play. a bit repetitive and aimless.
