made by Jacob Valore for LD 44 (JAM)

Endless Consumption is a game where you must work your life away in order to accrue money to buy things to fill your house. Your life is currency in this endless office runner.

Move with arrow keys, buy items in the catalog with the mouse, and dodge the office supplies! 5 Demerits and you will be fired!

I didn't really understand how to play, maybe a tutorial would help.

Lovely pixel art. I was trying to move with WASD keys at first time. You could alternate arrow keys with WASD.

I enjoyed the art style and but was also confused with the controls as on the top it showed WASD. I also wasn't sure how to get back to the starting area or maybe I just got fired too early before the hatch opened.

Funny game! I got a beautiful room! I liked the pictures for buying furniture ;)
Some music and SFX should be added. And like @leinades, a Tutorial maybe...
You should did the opposite way of counting lives: instead of counting number of demerit, you should start from 5 "lives" then go down to 0, it should be more user friendly.

Cool idea - I liked the split screen concept, but I couldn't work out how to get back down to the shop (couldn't climb back down the ladder). Love the idea of furnishing your own apartment. Nice work!

I like the visual and the gameplay works well, for cons I did not really understand what to do and the relationship with the theme of jam

This was super fun! Great job on the animation. The ponytail moving around was icing on the cake.

Great concept and layout. Love the way the entire game is a single screen.

Great graphics and animations! Enjoyed this game but missed some audio. For me it was a little hard to climb down on a ladder. Fun concept, good job!
