Don't know what to think about this game. Beginning was really good - MUSIC, art, idea - but after a while of playing I don't know if I have any objective. I bought information and read about some guy on the South but instead sailed to 2 islands where had to shoot and shoot and shoot until enemies were too fast.
Idea? Great. Late game? You probably drunk too much rum ;) Still more playable than most games however!

@cornel Yeah, we got a little drunk and lost about the objective in the game. The first ideia was that the game would be just exploring and sailing around, managing the rum and going as far as possible. But then we started creating a small history for the game, we couldn't finish everything we wanted becouse we only had the weekend to develop. Thx for the feedback, have a great jam!

Damn cool, neat to find a game like this in a jam. I'm afraid it's a bit dull, ultimately; too few gameplay mechanics spread over too much time. Would've been cool if the cannon balls could go through targets or something so that it felt like there was strategy to it. Music got scratchy/staticy by the time I finished the plotline.

@pyrian Glad u liked. We wanted to do so much more, but we only had the weekend, and i'm the only programmer of the team, none of them had ever done a game jam before, or even used unity ^^. About the cannon balls it's a pretty good idea, becouse we could spawn even more enemies and the combat would be more dinamic. One of the ideias we also had for the cannon ball was that they would land and explode where u clicked. Thank you for playing and for the feedback o/

Fun game, the music really fit. Felt weird attacking a ship and shooting at an island though. "Why's the rum gone?"

I immediately fell in love with this game, really clever use of the theme. The conveyance of what to do is well done and the map makes it clear where you have and haven't been, which is handy since you can only hit each island once. My only disappointment was that I was left wanting more! I was hoping for some variation on the islands - some scripted events, oregon trail style, or other little minigames. Would really love to see this idea expanded on more, but definitely a great jam entry.
