These small rooms makes me keeping on playing forever. Great hook.

The jump animation looks cool/funny. I might use that myself on a future gamejam :+1:

Siisti peli, I really enjoyed the style and the humor, especially the veromuumi. It gets really challenging pretty quickly

One of the best I've played so far. My biggest issue is that the double jump doesn't work the way you'd expect it to in any other game. To jumper as high as you can, you have to hit the jump key as soon as possible after you jump, whereas in any other game, you double jump at the height of your jump to maximize your height. I only figured this out after like 50 failed attempt to get onto the lights in the jazz club. Aside from that, this is a great submission.

@goblinportal Aw thank you <3
@shp Thanks for the feedback (Veromuumi muistaa tämän) !
@deglis Yeah I had some troubles on setting it up, my bad :D But hey, failure is first step in learning something new, so thanks for the feedback <3

This is hands down the best game I've played on this jam. Graphics, sound design, mechanics, level design, humor: all of it is mind-blowingly amazing. I have no idea how you've managed to create this in 48 hours. Good luck on your next projects!

super nice game, the characters and level design are silly in a good way, and buying your way into completing the decoration feels great.

good work!

Really impressive for a game made in 48 hours. I didn't really get the story but I don't think that's important haha. Also really hard! The movement was kind of weird sometimes. I feel like how high you jump is random? That made it even harder. But overall it was quite fun. I also enjoyed the part where you had to find out where to go and what path to take. Great job!

@sol-roo Thank youu <3
@inferture Yeah I have some learning to do with the difficulty-level to make it balanced, thank you for the feedback <3
@sheepolution Yeah the jumping... I managed to make it so that the faster you tap the jump-button the higher you jump. I had a plan to make it work as @deglis statet earlier but I ran out of time, but hey it's just a gamejam :D And thank you so much for streaming this!

I love super simple art styles like this. Really takes me back to my early gaming days when we had to walk 15 miles in the snow to boot up our ZX Spectrum! Really fun game, gives strong "just one more room" vibes. I liked the premise and the character was fun too! Great work.

Brother Moomi stole all the moom hearts :open_mouth:

I love the art style and atmosphere! I think the double jump is a bit glitchy: it's possible to get to the upper level of the jazz bar just by jumping and not paying any hearts on the lights. The story was cute and kept me playing until the end! Good entry :smile:

I love it when someone creates a game with a very limited color palette. You did great with the pixelart, congrats.

@b3agz Glad to hear you liked it! I was aiming for that 'just one more room'-vibe :D
@seb-jones Thank you <3
@boxedmeatrevolution Yeah, I somehow managed to break the whole double-jumping mechanic somewhere in mid dev and didn't have time to fix it so it kinda left there as a ~~bug~~ feature :D
@jofersgames Aw thankk youu <33 You can find my other work from my itch-page https://kultisti.itch.io . I'm currently working on one big project but after that I might return to some of my older projects like this, who knows, I'll inform you then :D

I really liked it. The jump physics were really weird, though, and it could be hard to control. The ending was very spooky. I liked the sense of humor.

Very nice looking, and interesting mechanic. A bit too much with the backtracking for my tastes, but great overall!
