My first time in Ludum Dare, it was a great experience!

-----<>-----

A simple game that needs a little strategy. In a post apocalyptic era,so many defenseless people out there, so you decided to sacrafice your life to help them and they support you financially, so you can keep your mission to save the world, to save humanity.

Game mechanics: Whenever you shoot it drain an amount of your health, also your health drains over time. Whenever the timer reaches zero, you are able to choose another skill or upgrade a skill. Keep an eye on the timer and health, if you risk the shot it might be your last.

-----<>-----

Health Shield - Basicly you can spam shots for a period of time without losing health.

Gain Health - You gain health over time but still lose an amount when you shoot.

Gold Multiplier - Multiplies the gold recieved when someone is saved by 2, upgraded with a maximum of 5.

Really cool!! At first I was a bit confused as to what I was supposed to do, but then I noticed you have to choose who you will save, and that after some time the round ends and you can buy upgrades. Nice! My highscore was 11 saved, 6 unsaved.

This game would benefit a lot with a better explanation of what is actually going on.

Congrats on completing your first LD!! I enjoyed your game, the controls were simple, and objectives were clear. I liked the variety of upgrades, though I found that I had to heavily rely on the "gain health" power-up to stay alive. I think that if you had more options for regaining health (maybe with each person saved), it might help balance the difficulty a little! Nice game!

The strategy part of the game of deciding who you should save is good, but if you can only select one power up at a time it doesn´t make sense to gradually upgrade all of them so you will end up just maxing one of them.

I had so much fun. Coudn't stop until I had everything max. upgraded and saved all people in one round. So I my final score was 356 Saved and 29 unsafed.
I didn't really understand what the health shield does. The graphics are a little simle but I really like your idea. After I understand what the sound was, the cries also were kinda cute.
Thanks for the great time.

Thank you guys for the comments and feedback, I edited the description to clarify how to play the game.
I know the balance is a little off, but I learned some valuable things, one for sure is, to scope down even more :)

Thank you again for taking you time to try out the game!

In principle, the game is good, if you modify the interface, then you can fill up resources with online games

Great Game! My only concern is in the upgrades, I was a bit confused, because I upgraded the gain health, but it wasn't gaining health afterwards. Also, to start a level you have to press on the buttons of the upgrades even if I didn't had enough coins to buy. I believe that there was a purpose on that, but it should be more clear. Overall, awesome job! and congrats on your jam

With about 5 minutes of messing around I eventually understood the gameplay. And explanation and control list would be nice to avoid the experimenting st the start to understand the game. But overall really well done!

Interesting concept, i liked how you have to decide every round what ability you want to use. But it would've been great if there was a little text bout the rules, esp that you can should choose who you want to rescue and that you have to choose an ability for each round. you could make this with animation or GUI. Also an indicator if you saved the person or the enemies killed them would be cool. But really great game, really! Especially for your first LD. Good job!
