Hello! I'm Peepo! And today is the biggest day of my life! It's the grand opening of Peepo's Parlour - my very own ice cream parlour. I did have to borrow quite a bit of gold to get it up and running... But I'm sure it will be a great success! And if it isn't... well he says there is more than one way to pay him back... Could you help me get the store up and running? I don't really want to be in debt for too long you know?

All art, code, music and sound made by us during the jam! Voice acting too ;p.

This is so friggin cute. Love, love, love the graphics. Liked the music a lot too, tho it got a little shrill at times. I liked the way that the consequences for failure affected the UI! I would have rated higher if it felt more like I understood why I wasn't making enough money each day.

Hi @karmicretribution! Thank you so much for your comment! We are so happy you liked it! We originally envisioned having a money system based on how well you fulfilled the orders however we didn't really have time to make it work. We also wanted people to see the full story, so we made the player fail every day to push things along ;) Thanks for playing!!

I feel somewhat disturbed. That was incredibly well done!
The voice acting (which was awesome), the sounds, music, graphics, it all fit together perfectly!

Amazing job.
One of the only things that bothered me, would be that I sometimes wasn't sure which flavor was which. (Which one is the red swirl!?) Maybe I gave the right flavor, but the wrong size? More feedback as to what I got wrong would make it nicer :D

Wow!! I really liked that. The art and audio were great. The cut-scene in the beginning was the cherry on top.

This really freaked me out! In a really great way though, lol. I think it was a little frustrating that no matter what I did I didn't do enough, but I totally get running out of time. I wish that I had a better idea of which flavor was which at the start as well. The graphics were awesome and the voice acting was really fun

The creepy mood from this game is so great! The way the main character's fingers get cut off and the static in the background really add to the experience. The only few problems I had with this game were the income not being displayed and the ice cream names not being displayed.

I love that the game got harder the more limbs got taken off, as well as corresponding to the limb (shaky hand and lack of vision). As with the above, having an indicator of which flavor is which and what was wrong in each order would be a good addition. Great game overall :smile:

I love the graphics!!! I don't know if it was just me, but I got a bit confused with the flavor names, until I got used to it.
The art is amazing, and fun game to play1!! I love this creepy mood!!!

Really good idea (Loved the increasing difficulty with lost limbs)! Visuals and audio were amazing and effectively set a great mood. One of the best ones I've played so far :) Did misclick a couple of times though and would have loved to have a back button or something to go back to the flavor picking stage.

Wow loved the art and sound in this game, super well done! I felt a little confused in the actual gameplay part, as I didn't realize right away that I needed to click on the customer to give them their ice cream. I think it'd be better to have the icecream stretch out to them, but I understand the constraints of this jam and you definitely did an amazing job in such a short time. Great job!

Thanks @ekx! I have no idea why we didn't include a back button - we're considering polishing up the game and rereleasing some time, and if we do we'll definitely implement it :)

@dinosire Thanks for your feedback, we're glad you enjoyed the game! Definitely agree that the gameplay could be clearer - we were hoping to animate the player arms and have them reach towards the customer when you moused over the left side of the screen, but we ran out of time. If we update the game after the jam we'll fix this!

Pretty fun game, but it got a bit confusing with the ice cream names not being labelled. A little bit frustrating that no matter what i did i seemed to always get the "That's not what ordered" message. I also would have liked a trash/delete button for when I messed up. I also had an issue with the tutorial messages for the game (like the click on the customer text) not going away. Might be just the web version being annoying, I know I had issues with my game not working on browsers other than Chrome. Loved the idea though, super fun and creative and sort of reminded me of Papa's Pizzeria games haha. Good work! :)

Wow, Thats one way to pay for an ice cream shop, also I should never be in charge of an ice cream shop. This game felt great, very very well polished. If I could find anything to say about it, I did have a hard time finding the back to menu button in the bottom left. Congrats on being newly married and keep this up! I want to see more from you guys.

I never thought running an ice cream shop would cost me an arm & a leg. Fun little game, good graphics, little voice acting sounds added to it. Wasn't sure what the flavors were. I liked the UI was affected by your body.

Loved the graphics, the music, and the way the UI was impacted by the body mutilation which also freaked me out by the way. I died on day 3. I messed up on the first one and never seemed to recover. Would be nice to have feedback as to how much money you need to make per day. I liked how there were no instructions in what flavors were or how to make big scoops. Added a lot to the game. Job well done here.
