Hello and welcome to my game, Night of the Killer Beetles. It plays as a simplified real time strategy (RTS) game where the last of human resistance must put up a desperate fight against the robot beetles that have beaten them into submission. Your initial squad of 4 must keep "it" alive: the resistance, hope, and humanity.

Controls

The game uses somewhat standard RTS controls:

Mouse to the edge of the screen (or WASD or arrow keys): Pan the camera Mouse scroll: Zoom the camera

Left click: Select a unit Left click drag: Select many units Right click on ground: Move to that position Right click on an enemy: Move to and attack that enemy

Attacking will be indicated by a red line from the human to the enemy.

I like me some rts - this was cool. No audio though? Bummer. I had no idea what the gameplay mechanics were until I started clicking about. I don't play rts but few times in the past - if not for that I imagine I'd be quite lost as to how the game works - a simple text in the corner listing controls would do. Big level is nice too.
