There's something wrong with this. I start the game and it's in the top left corner of my screen, so I'm only seeing a quarter of the game screen. I've never seen this before and I wasn't able to get it to move. I'll refrain from rating, but the game looked incredible from what I could see!

@jharler That is really odd, I'm afraid I don't know what's causing that, have you tried clicking the window and pressing f-11?

Very good graphics and audio! The game was a bit much for my laptop but I liked what I got to play, especially when the apple tree came and gave me the business!

Hey there! Loved this submission because of the artwork and how smooth the game felt. Was a bit discouraged downloading the game at first because it was 177mb and took a while for me to download. But boy was I glad I did!

You achieved amazing scope and visuals and I like the storytelling and actual tutorial. The controls and gamepaly however kept glitching and I wondered if I was doing the right thing or not for a lot of it. very cool game though!

interesting game, I had some trouble running it, it was a little choppy but the graphics were very nice and the mood was solid. There's quality of life things I wish were there but I wouldn't expect in a game jam game. Would love to see a more flushed out and polished version on the xbox arcade. It certainly has potential.

Nice work on the visuals, they are simply amazing for a jam game
The map collision is a bit glitch at places, I managed to clip out of the pumpkin patch, which isn't really a big deal, that happens. But it would be nice if it would just reset the map instead of destroying the pawn and letting the player hang in mid air.

Lol nice theme for halloween, creepy as well, I liked various soundtracks and the charge mechanic, also the fact that the game has 3 bosses with stages to them. UI in game to show your lifes would help a lot, otherwise idk when to use the coffee mug. Unfortunately on the second boss I somehow was catapulted away from the map, probably a bug.

Very beautiful and athmospheric graphics! And nice fit to Halloween :) Also I liked the fireball mechanics.
But I didn't get how to properly do quests, and how to beat pumpkin boss :P

Probably the best 3d models and visuals of any game I've played on this Ludum Dare, the main character is just super cute and the bosses are well design. The music, voice over and audio effects were perfect as well, they fit together great.

I only have to complains: The shooting pointer was a little weird when something was in the way, because you weren't pointing at the ground, but at the projection of the object in the foreground, so it's quite confusing. And my other complain, which is the biggest one, I don't think it really fits the theme that well. You start with nothing but like 10 seconds later you get the magic tome, so did you really started with nothing?

However, amazing game.

I don’t like coffee, but along the way I drank it too much that even pumpkins threw me over the map). But just kidding, it's just a bug, of course. But it was a lot of fun to play, thanks for such a gaming experience).

The visuals are great and so is the music / sound effects. There's storytelling which is impressive for a jam game, and choosing a level in game instead of a menu is a nice plus ;)

Another thing I like is that there are 3 different bosses with multiple phases and attacks instead of few generic enemies. Very ambitious for such short time!

If you want to improve something, I would give a better way to tell your own and enemy health. And maybe a better indication if I'm actually damaging the boss. I know there was a sound effect, but it would be even better if there was some particles etc. Also, make it more obvious what parts of boss you should attack and when he is invulnerable.

And unfortunately, the game is a bit buggy.
