DISCOVER A HOUSE FULL OF VALUABLES....

AND HIDE THOSE FROM THE TAX INSPECTOR !

You received a big house as a legacy of an old relative... But the tax inspector comes in a few minutes. You need to discover a house you know nothing about, and try to hide or break any valuable to avoid paying too much in taxes.

Use the ZQSD / WASD on your keyboard to move, Space to jump, Shift to run, CTRL to crouch, Left Click use / throw and Right Click to Grab / Release an item.

You might panic a little bit... But remember : you absolutely want to start the inspection with nothing of value in plain sight !

BE FAST ! LEARN WHERE EVERYTHING IS ! FIND NEW WAYS TO HIDE THE ITEMS !

AVOID GOING BANKRUPT !

The idea is cool and interesting!
The Introduction seems empty, the only thing I can do is press Enter to skip.Is that a BUG?

Excellent presentation. The movement system honestly made me feel a little sick, but other than that I really like this entry. Art is great too.

Nice idea, 2 min seems not enough though. I really liked the panic effect, the graphisms and the music. Felt a bit sick about movement and had hard time manipulating objects.

I do think this is a very interesting game, and certainly takes more than one try to fully experience the game. There's really nice level design in here, and plus the audio changes with regard to time, so it sounds more intense which is a nice indication for time. On top of that, UI and menu design is very clean and simplistic, really loved it. Great game and great job.

Very fancy entry! Both in the setting, but also in the detail to menus, text and UI and world objects. I spent the majority of the time myself hiding in the pool before I found a way out. Though the premise was simple it wasn't that clear what was valuable. Were the chairs around the dining table valuable? They kind of looked expensive. Or maybe they were just meant to be used to break things. If breaking was your strategy. The game said I trashed a whole lot of things but I blame it on the garden hose, because as soon as I picked it up it went bananas glitching out with insane speeds clipping through walls and such. So that could probably be a strategy for getting a good score. I also think the game could have had more than two minutes to it as it takes some time just getting used to the movement. And maybe simplify the controls to always be running, since that makes more sense in the context of the game.

Thanks for the comments everyone :D

@wxzuir the intro is quite progressive and... well long, you need to wait for the messages to be displayed :)

@saltfactory-studio Yeah the game is made to be experienced in more than one run ;) you got to explore, and discover where to hide things, and what needs to be broken. You start with nothing and no knowledge on the house, so you got to learn from scratch^^

@local-minimum thanks for the details in your feedback, really kind of you ! Yes indeed it's not clear. You get the summary of what was hidden / broken / found at the end that can help. You start with no knowledge of the house, so you need a few runs to discover the rooms and hiding places ! The garden hose... well... it's a bug x) it can become glitchy as you found out. But the main use of it is to destroy everything by using it (spilling water everywhere). But well, we did not have enough time to fix everything in time^^ The two minutes are here to show the hurry, it's indeed possible to have a positive score easily after a 2-4 runs :) (some items are WAY more valuable than other, and some are really easy to break !). But yes we could have given a little bit more time, and more over, we could have added some hints as to what is a hiding place and what isn't, and what is valuable :) We're definitely taking note of your feedback !

Thanks for the game! We really enjoyed playing it. The music and how it evolves makes you feel the tension of passing time. The only aspect that was a bit confusing was the intro (yeah, we waited and nothing really happened except for the full music loop... twice :D)

@palemek nice score ! Congrats ;) thanks for the comment !
Oh the intro... You're the second person having a problem with it ! What happened ? You got all the way through the messages until the controls were displayed ? You need to press enter to finish the intro after that. Yeah we should have added a text to say that the intro was finished...! Sorry for that !

Nice idea and game. Looks very polished and carefully fitted. Maybe a little more time to search the house can create a better experience (mostly in your first run through the house). Great job!

@raivk i think that no messages were displayed at all, nor controls ...

Hell, I like a lot of things about this game tbh! Cool music, great colors and style. Evokes nostalgia for "Hello, Neighbor" somehow. Sometimes physics is buggy, but it can be fun. At some point I started to cheat and memorize the most expensive objects, haha :) Great job, guys!

@palemek okay then looks like a bug, we're looking into it :) Thanks for the report !

@daria-toni thanks for the feedback ;) and of course you need to memorize the most expensive objects, that's how the game is meant to be played (and that's why there's no randomization) !
