I'll be honest it's only the 2nd game on here I played to completion. Audio was pretty cool and unique. One minor nitpick, being able to walk through enemies bodies before they disappear would have helped the game flow a lot better, but still, fun game!","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"wie_","author_uid":"1126274","time":"2019-10-06T23:34:14Z","epoch":1570404854,"modified":1570404854,"text":"I like the concept of gathering abilities in the levels, and I think you should expand on that and add new abilities to find, of which some would be very hidden and powerful. Controls are mostly fine, but lining up some jumps is difficult, because you can't control the jump's height. Graphics are clear, and music is, well interesting :D, but it gives it a different and distinctive feeling.","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"AdroitConceptions","author_uid":"1014035","time":"2019-10-06T23:34:52Z","epoch":1570404892,"modified":1570404892,"text":"@stefanie-leitch thank you for the feedback, and I agree, I ran into an issue with figuring out how to get the colliders to disable before the creature finished its death animation (only picked up Godot about a week before LD, haven't had much practice with it).","likes":0,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"AdroitConceptions","author_uid":"1014035","time":"2019-10-06T23:36:41Z","epoch":1570405001,"modified":1570405001,"text":"@wie actually how long you hold down the jump button effect the height, a tap is about 1 block, 1\/4 second is 2 blocks. It was super unique and fun, with the \"music\" and sound effects done with that style alongside the tube worm-ish enemies and other things. The movement mechanics were well done and both jumping and attack worked as I expected them to. There was never a point where I was fighting against the controls. The concept of gathering your platforming abilities was an interesting approach and slowly opened up the game and basically made the level feel different, even though it was the same.\n\nWhile the music matched the art.
