After your peaceful homeland was destroyed by opposing war factions, you start a new life in a remote kingdom, with nothing in your pockets. Go adventuring and save the land from the evil doers!
Use your mouse for most actions. You'll be asked to use your keyboard too, but worry not! The on screen text will tell you when!

Just a little tip: text can be skipped with RMB, which comes handy when fighting for long :)
I found that while I really liked the fight sequences (both the sound and text), I didn't like having to repeat it so many times.
Also, it would have been nice to resize the window.

thanks for the precious feedback and reviews. About the black window issue @notime4games and @phillserrazina are experiencing, I'm afraid the framework I chose is causing this with some specific instances. It uses SDL2 under the hood and after doing some research, it looks like a bug affecting some specific drivers and the openGL implementation used, so other than switching engines next time, I'm afraid there's not much I can do. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.
The build is labelled as "Epic Nobody - win10 (just for blackscreen cards issues)" on the itch downloads section. Everybody should play the original upload, this one is just for those who can't run the original build. Hope you guys can now try the game, or else, I'll owe you a working one next time!
I think fixing crashes is allowed, but if this goes against the rules I'll just delete it.
The dialogs and the fighting was also pretty funny. The fighting got a little repetitive but for the length of the game it was still bearable.
I definitely enjoyed playing!
Good job
Well done!
The art is refreshingly nice and the sfx adds to the experience. I was curious to see how the story would progress but the game seems to crash when fighting sometimes so I only ever got to bandit#5(game just closes down suddenly during fights). Managed to get the sword if I let the merchant die in the beginning, but he didn't seem very nice anyway sooo
Overall a nice game that had me asking for more! Good job!
* The narrative at the beginning, together with the messages when you kill 10 enemies, appeared and disappeared too fast, I wasn't able to read it entirely =(
* There were paths that I couldn't escape, like fighting the bandits at the bandit camp. If I refused to fight, there were nothing to do.
* I entered the jewel shop and said I wasn't happy for not helping the merchant. Later, I reentered there to see if something had changed, and this time I said I was happy, just to see what would happen. The game crashed hahaha, I'm sadder now for not helping him =(.
* The battles felt like a grind. I won a lot of money but there were nothing to buy, I didn't have a goal to fight.
Things I liked:
* Nice art, it gives the game an unique personality.
* It was very funny!
