This is so sad that no one had played your game :(

But about game, game is cool, but I had 3 hearts and I died (maybe this is bug), graphics are nice!!!
Overall game is good, but without music, and have a lot of bugs :D

Nice game, I liked the graphics, sadly without animation. Neverless, moving clouds. I liked it!

I find the idea of starting with nothing and then getting upgrades by defeating enemies, something that can work really well, but I feel like making those upgrades actually change the game in some way (the armor giving health, the sword making you stronger, etc) would improve the mechanic and make it more interesting.

Good effort nonetheless(´∀`)b

Nice little game!

I like the graphics, but the UI/text could use some polish.

It looks like there is white text on the bottom of the start screen, but if so, I couldn't read it
I played a few times, and it seemed the game got slower and slower.

I don't like using spacebar to jump, I would rather use the W key. I didn't use the look up or look down option.

I got till 348, I never reached 500... I liked the intro, the falling down. While falling down, it seems that you have 5 hearts, but when you get into the level, one disappears! :slight_frown: Also, I got armor at some point, but I didn't feel like it protected me from anything.

I was a bit confused by the attack mechanism, since the club/sword was moving quite slow, and I didn't see when I had a proper impact on a slimey creature. Some (audio)visual feedback that I hit one would have been nice. I liked how the slimes jumped around, that made it quite hard actually!

The collision detection could use some polish as well, the player character could stand on edges/corners in a surprising way:

Really nice concept for the theme, could use a sound effect for sword. Hope you get the 20 rating you need.

I won in 254 seconds. Pretty cool the way the game progresses. I thought I had set up an infinite farming opportunity here:

But nope! The game was smart enough to eventually stop spawning green slimes, and started spawning tougher ones that weren't one hit, and thus would get knocked away and cause me to have to chase them. This broke me out of the farming, and made me run all around the map to find untapped areas where greens had spawned early but not been mopped up yet. I ran all around, saw the whole thing, and just about there I hit my 500, which was perfect timing.

Cool how the character progresses in look. Of course fancy animations and sound effects could make the game feel a lot more lively, but that's how goes in jams! I thought you did a good job of covering the basics by having the weapon swing, and I appreciated that I always knew when I was hit because of the flashing.

Nice work.

Pretty simple but does what it does well

The scenery is nice, starting from space, then sky, then ground. I felt the gravity of jump too strong, a slow jump would be more pleasant, like classics Super Mario or Sonic.

Interresting game, scoring is great but I had a performance problem and I guess that's because of the many slimes spawning at the same time, otherwise great game :)

Interesting idea, I kinda wish there were some pickup on higher platforms.
There are performance slowdowns in random times.

Simple and straightforward implementation of the LD Theme, good job :) I didn't understand the beginning though, why did I have to click 10 times? :) But I liked the idea of an initial fall through all the platforms. One minor issue is that the player can walk on a round corner of a block, which I think doesn't feel natural. @anion-z Which reference was it, just the name of the game? :) Too bad I didn't find any Rimuru reference instead :P

It feels pretty good and I like how the unlocks all change things visually.

I was confused by clicking 10 times at the start. I also was using shift to attack, but this stopped working when I picked up the sword. Not a big deal though.

Good work!

Cool simple game! It started slowing down when there were too many slimes, but well done overall!

Cute game, the artwork is nice! I felt like the gameplay was a bit too easy though, the enemies drop so many hearts that I was never at risk of losing.
