Interesting Idea with the shadow being "Pushed" across the level, I'm just glad there are alot of checkpoints because I died alot :D The only thing was that the hitbox for the spikes seem a little bigger then they should be, other then that perfect!

Interesting game. I'm torn because I like the mechanic of having the path ahead hidden, but perhaps a hint for what's to come might be interesting as well. Great job!

I had fun dying from that unfair darkness. And dying while trying to predict what's gonna unfairly kill me. And also dying at the victory screen. :D

Fun game, well done!

I really like the idea with the hidden path. Maybe if the players head lighted up the way just a bit I would have died a bit less ;)

I didn't mind the constant dying to see the path ahead. Nothing like learning from your own mistakes. I did think that the hit box for the spikes was a little to big for some of the spaces (not impossible of course but hard to gage how close you can get to the spikes before an automatic death). Overall, really enjoyed the concept and the little jumping stickman lol.

Pretty fun game :D tho i died like ten times before i even saw the spikes.
The jumping and running sounds (step sounds) were great

I took me a little longer than I would like to admit to find out that those damn spikes were killing me xD ... Really great game!

Cool game and fun graphics. I am not a 100% happy with the size of the spike collision but overall it was an enjoyable experience!

Interesting game. The mechanics feel polished except for the spike collision boxes. I wish i could see just a little bit further so I could predict a tiny bit. Great job!

Even for not being a full game, the game is still very enjoyable, 5 stars from me my guy

You really did a good job the theme. The thing that stood out to me was the timing for walking sounds and the animations for them. You nailed the timing.

I'm caught between enjoying the game and being immensely frustrated :)

This game has a good amount of difficulty. I kind of like the fact that you have to die a bunch just to see the next part of the level - makes you just rush into the darkness blind. Having frequent torches to save progress was a great idea. For an unfinished game, this feels great. A full version has a lot of potential! Well done!

This idea is really cool! I don't think it would work as a full game, but as a game jam game I had a lot of fun. Loved the big headed guy ^^

Love the dripping and cave sounds. I kinda laughed at the CONSTANT dying, and thankfully the respawn is instant and pretty forgiving (lots of checkpoints.) Would definitely want to watch Pewdiepie play this.

That was a pretty cool game, I liked the mechanic of it, and the sounds were nice. I do wish you could see at least a tiny bit further, or maybe have some kind of hints in the level that an obstacle is approaching. And the spike hit boxes felt a bit unfair. Great game though!

Great art and sound. The mechanic of darkness ahead of you was interesting but I was resorted to trial and error for the most part. If you were to expand this to a full game I'd think of someway for the player to know whats ahead. Perhaps a flashlight or some repeating pattern.

Really great! Learn as you go is a really nice concept..It didn't feel too punishing and I feel if you made a bunch more levels to this you could make a nice unique game! The art looks great and the gameplay is easy to pickup

I absolutely loved the art style in this game, very clean and pretty! I liked the darkness mechanic, it was a fun way to let you figure out the puzzles a little at a time, and it wasn't too punishing since you didn't really lose the game when you died. Nice work!

It is an interesting game. Especially when the darkness returns. The parallaz is well done. There might be a little bit more whim in character composition. And a background song is also missing. The controler is simple and works!

Congratulations.

Cool concept! Definitely has a Limbo vibe. I like the amount reverb on all the sound fx, adds to the overall spooky mood. Would have liked to hear some music butI guess having no music also ties in with the theme :)

Fantastic concept but I just wish you could see ever so slightly in front of you to avoid constant death

Hey there, played through a couple of runs. The procedural generation was a nice touch for sure. I almost missed that aspect but then decided to go for another run at the end to find some new obstacles. Pushing the darkness often had me running into spikes but it wasn't frustrating due to the frequent checkpoint torches.
Overall a nice little game you made here. I enjoyed my time :)

Interesting idea and decent execution! I really liked how the dark areas are removed as the player progresses. Nice parallax art. I liked the color palette of the game. Decent entry! Some background music would have added a lot to the game.

Heyoo! Nice game yooo! Really enjoyed the animation, the mood and art. Also it was nice what u did to the runner genre we are used to! This game made me remember a very old runner i enjoyed a lot when I was young. Great job!

Damn that fog of war! :ok_hand_tone4:

I love how each adventure is generated differently, and when you die, the fog shifts just beyond your killer briefly so you can tune how far to overcome.

The jump and animation is simple and good. I'd argue that the hitbox caused me to hover over air slightly without falling, but I'm not one to complain!

Good game!
