Good game

This seems good, but I can't figure out how to buy stuff. I can move the little cursor up and down with the arrows, but enter does nothing. Clicking the words does nothing. The prices on things say 150 pts, I got up around 1000 points, still couldn't buy upgrades. Feel like I'm missing something obvious.

Also, playing on a touchscreen laptop feels a little like cheating. Just touch the enemies and they die. :D

@ogre Hmm, not sure about the buying stuff it should buy correctly unless you had the fire rate maxed out, I'll give it look though, thanks for playing the game!

Simple premise to the game, but a few bugs regarding the upgrade menu. If you hit down on the last option, it goes down by one more past the last option, and once this happens you can't buy anything anymore for some reason. Also, there is no game over. If you actually just start the game and do nothing, the game will not end despite having no HP. I couldn't get the upgrade for the satellites to shoot faster for some reason. There doesn't seem to be an end, or separate waves of enemies for the game. The music loops shortly and is repetitive enough to be somewhat annoying. It's a shame that these bugs/issues exist (well it is made from scratch in two days, so that is expected), but other than that, good job!

@burnedkirby Thanks for the feedback! The upgrade menu I will have to take a look, Im probably going to have to adjust some values. I designed the game over scene but I forgot to implement it, bad on my part and the music yea, I guess it could get repetitive but I couldnt get a musician so I had to do the best I could and after an hour making that I was like sick of music and went back to coding

It caught me for a while. I love how the "World" advances with killed enemies.
Music wasn't that good.

I enjoyed your game! I liked the graphics and the use of the theme. I noticed when upgrading fire rate it would put me into negative points. For isntance, I would have 50 points, click the upgrade and then have -150 or something. Also, maybe if the enemy collides with the turret you lose the turret? Just an idea....overall i enjoyed and it kept me for a bit!

@superunknown the -150 would mean you probably had 4 auto attackers and each one is -50 and I was going to add that but you know, I ran out of time, kind of. but thats great! Glad the game kept you there for a bit!

Loved the idea of defense and you exactly start with nothing but yourself.

wow. this bring me back to my days back in school when i played flash games all day long. :-/
i feel like this game got some real potential, to be an everlasting endless upgrade defence shooter. so enemies become stronger so you need to upgrade your satelites, or turrets or whatever.
then this could become a nice mobile game. but still its a realy nice game, even thought its only 1 set of turrets and enemies. gjgj

Great game man. In your place I would add so the autoshooters can be destroyed (or they coutld die on they own), because I ended up with lot of them and the I just sit and watched them to destroy everything. But otherwise good game. Really enjoyed this one. Also the text to upgrade fire ration doesn't update the price.
