Hungry Hungry Spiders by bendmorris
Multiplayer online game. Each spider begins with a single soul. Eat other spiders to acquire their souls, and eat spiders and flies to acquire blood. The more blood you drink the larger (and slower) you'll get.
Use WASD/LRUD to move. Controls are tank-style; you can turn left and right or move forward.
If you are bigger than another spider, as long as you're facing them you will drain their blood. If you are smaller than another spider, you need to get behind them first to drain their blood.

The game was quite different after that realisation. I totally didn't read the explanation above of course.
It also seemed to get a bit choppy and unresponsive at large sizes, though maybe it was just less noticable when moving faster.
Well done for making a multiplayer game. I would like to play it with more players.
There was nobody else online so what better to do than to open up 10 browser tabs and feed all of the souls to one spider? Yes yes yes...
Feels like writing a simple bot script for this would be a fun little side project.
If you log in and there are two other players online, it might be me in two tabs trying to bait you over to my giant spider.
