Nicely done! Was a little confused with the UI at the beginning, particularly with the repeated start button, but overall it was really amusing!

This is a really clever mechanic. Also, the dedication to the handdrawn feel on the graphics side of things is really something else. Great stuff here.

Creative idea! I love seeing artistic draw your solution games! The little details are fantastic too, like when you're laying down a block and a tree spawns on it in the background. Overall tons of fun and quite a bit of content too! Love the power-up ideas especially the spring lol

Very good! And a very polished game. One nitpick: the catapult physics are really unpredictable - you could be flung very close or very far, so it's kind of imbalanced. With the right amount of tweaks this could be a great mobile game!

I love this. I was excited to play your game when I saw you posting during the development period, and I'm glad it was built for WebGL. The theme is well done and consistent throughout, the graphics are really enjoyable, and the gameplay is just a lot of fun. Fantastic submission!

Thanks for all the great feedback, we're really happy that you are enjoying Scribble from Scratch :)
The strength of the catapult varies depending on your position on the catapult and your input during the flight. Which is as you said rather unpredictable. Maybe I'll find the time to rework it in the next few days :)

The game is good, it's not very innovative, but the art style and level design make this game very fun and interesting to play! Great job.

The game is really fun and i like the art style. The drawing sound is a bit annoying and the cursor is not intuitive.

Great game and so much content. Art is amazing. How many people worked on it? Because it looks so cohesive.
I like that you took time to adjust forces to work with grid that you picked.
I wish there were more sound effects and some nice quiet background track.
Thanks and good job guys!

Mechanics are great, a little unintuitive but overall great game ! (And it's little bit same as my game :D)

Graphism are cute and works very well. I like that it evolve with us by adding scenery or "yikes". Yikes everywhere! (yes, I died many times)

Very artsy game. Really nice and easy puzzles. I liked the fact that when you draw blocks, there are background drawings being made above them which is so cool! Pencil sounds are a bit harsh to my ears.

Very amazing idea! I enjoyed the big brain calculations and strategies that'd have been necessary to play. Although there was no music, *scribble scribble scribble*

Really neat idea and so well executed! I tried to cheese it by editing have way to remove and add more blocks but ya'll thought about before hand and that's very sweet. I want to see more of this with music. Really well done!

Thanks a lot for all your feedback. We already tweaked physics and usability, but we are not sure if we want to publish the new version, because we don't want to influence ratings with post jam work. But after rating phase we will definitly come out with a new version, and most probably this game will make it to a full version soon.

Logical conclusion: place spring so that you immediately spawn inside the launch pad, then use your height to go inside a catapult and yeet yourself to the chest. Use speedboosts whenever you can.

Holy crap this execution! I normally run gigantic teams like yourselves but I usually can't get results this cohesive. How do you guys do it? Have you all worked together a lot? I only see 1 other gamejam with this crew.

Hard to come up w feedback nobody else has. It's a great engineering game with a splash of unique art and theming to go with it. I love that it conjures up doodles everyone may have done as a kid. I died many, many times but I loved finetuning things over time and learning how everything worked together (and how much launching power they had). The thing I like about this game the most is that there are just so many solutions possible, I always love seeing that type of stuff. Awesome job!

This is a really nice looking game; the attention to detail in the effects is fantastic, all the way down to the ink in the pen. Unfortunately, it seemed like a _lot_ of the puzzles could be solved with a single catapult. Also, the reverse catapult seemed to be filled with glue, because when I tried to use it it launched me
approximately zero inches.

Other than that though, this was a fun take on a clever idea!

I love the arts of this game so much! The effects are very well-animated and cute! I love the idea of the game as well. It definitely has the potential to be developed into a full game. Very good job!

Art style, level design, ink concept, everything is Just Brilliant. you should develop this further into a full game. one thing though, since there is no music, pencil scratch sound effect gets little annoying after a while
