Baby steps by freso

Intro
Accidentally(?) dropped in the river while on a picnic, you just drifted ashore. It seems even your pacifier got lost somewhere in the forest. YOU. HAVE. NOTHING.
Go find your pacifier and get out of this forest. Maybe you can find your family again.
Project
Start with nothing. This theme was so open to anything that it became the hardest yet. Took a good 4 hours before we decided on a project. We ended up with an adventure puzzler game?

I really liked the art style and animations of the baby - really well done. Controls were tight and it was fun to play. Perfect length too.
The only thing I would change was that the pacifier was a bit small and hard to find at times!
Overall, the game seems quite empty to the point it is in now. I thought it was building up to something and was expecting something on the other side of the river, but it did finished :(
Quite liked the death animation and the way baby shakes its head when mooving. Also i loved the artstyle and the random generation of the obstacles!
@black-flag: Yup, randomized.
We also wanted to have more content in the game, but as you all know, time runs out.
I only wish the game were a little longer. As in, if there were I few different things I might think to do at each step of the game before finding the right one. I guess that's the limitations of the jam.
Would've loved to see more, it was over way too soon, but I really enjoyed this, good job!
Really well done. I loved the bee puns. It was pretty short though. I would have loved to play some more levels of that.
Mmm, I think we could have has a lot more content with one more day.
also great parenting. poor baby
I didn't see the exit at first, so I kept walking around the stage looking for more things, but I guess I should have been more observant.
Liked the art and audio, good job!
Had a lot of fun playing it!
As others have pointed very nice graphics ... AND ALSO LOOK AT THAT BIRD
Nice polished gameplay with my only complain the automatic use of your bottle (instead of using it by pressing a key).
Excellent job!
