Great job! Love the music and sounds. The puzzle was not boring and kept me playing until the end.

The music was driving me crazy and there was no mute button so I had to play it without headphones.
At first I thought the game was broken and stupid because I couldn't use any item. And then by random clicking stuff I accidentally placed the alligator in a room. So I decided to experiment with all items and then suddenly I was gone and really confused. So I paid a bit more attention and I realized that the ghost actually fades every time you make a mistake, and that even though the rooms look the same they all have their own unique description. Once I realized what I had to do the game became much more interesting, and the feeling of it actually made me really sad. In the end I had a really heart warming surprise, so amazing work I loved it!

@hcursino There is actually a mute button available when you press the Esc key, though it doesn't save state across game-overs (ran out of time just as I realized that was an issue).

Anyway, I'm glad you had fun. Thanks for the feedback!

Relaxing indeed!
Since it''s already above, I'll sharpen the hint that the Alligator goes in the bottom room.
Work in categories! : )
I think I saw a bug though, on Vivaldi browser, the actual names of the items weren't alwys showing up in the grid inventory.

I was very confused at the beginning, but managed to figure out what was going on after a while. It's a cool jam game, good job!
