This is a cool idea! I like it! I did find it hard to understand exactly what was going on. Though I did kinda get it. Adding a bit more info to the description on this page would help a bit I think, explain what is going on, and more how it works. Because you can't really see anything, so it is hard to know what is doing what. :)

It took a bit to get the gist but I got it eventually. Certainly a large difficulty spike at the beginning while you get your bearings.

As a bit of critique try to include more information like objectives or rules for your game. That'll help the player better contextualize what they're doing and what needs to be done as they play.

Good on you for participating though. Keep experimenting and creating stuff. :v:

I think that this was an interesting concept but I did struggle a bit to understand what was happening and if enemy would only move if i move. This mean't I stumbled a fair few times into my death. Good Job :).

I like this one. The idea of having a roguelike that incentivizes speedy play is interesting. Not sure if restricted vision is the best way to do that, but I like it either way.

It'd probably work better on a larger scale, with less predictable enemies roaming around, so you have to always wonder if you should sacrifice vision over health.
In its current state you can just run off and hide for a minute to heal up.
Speaking of that, I noticed that you can overheal, but if you go over 25 you loop back to 4. Is that a bug or is that intentional?

the heal going to 4 is so u must check your health when you heal or inflict damage if you go over the max

@celdur @gamerplayer Interesting game, I too thought it was a bug. It would have been nice to know it was intentional. Other than that, I like the idea of the field of view always changing--It's like a roguelike that requires constant button pushes to keep the room lit (decide fast or be blind).

Also this always followed me, with way too many HP to kill:

If you kill the shop keeper that happens
Btw it’s just a little thing to say don’t kill him
