Cool idea! The game is a bit too simple but the idea is very funny and well executed!

Thank you for making this game!

Oh man, this game was weird! I had no idea what was going on to start with... then the face appeared. It was so annoyingly challenging I couldn't stop playing! Nice job dude. Great LD entry :D

I really liked it, even though it's quite hard to beat with a trackpad ^^.
Cool game!

Ok, I was seriously surprised by the mouse-pointer face :D i need more surprises like that in my life :D At the beginning i didn't know what was going on in the game, but once i sorted out the rules it quickly became kinda addicting!! Nice idea!!

Really nice how everything gets slowly revealed, especially since you aren't sure what the objectives are yet, pretty tough to stay alive but was fun

What an incredible idea, honestly one of the best ones I have come across this jam. Its so simple but super effective, I can't remember last time I got so positively surprised as I played a game before, and I have participated in LD 15 times haha.

Well, at first it was not clear, then the sword fall right under the enemy and I was dying, but I kill him and the boss in end) It is a pity that there are no sounds, but the concept is very interesting, thanks.

Cool game, really liked the way your dead pointers pile up on the bottom! I just think it could have some visual feedback for when you damage the enemy, I wasn't sure I was doing it right in the first phase until it died.

Really great idea. I love the riddle aspect of the game. Some invulnerability time when you respawn would help to make the game less confusing.

@tui Yes, there are those eyes veins piling up with each hit, but I think they don't really stand out. There could be more feedback.

@benjamin Oh yea, that's a great idea.

Very funny idea, and it was fun to play, though a bit confusing and unforgiving at first. Good choice that we didn't have to start from scratch when dying. Some sound effects would have been nice, especially for dying(which isn't always obvious since there are multiple mouse arrows on screen) and damaging the enemy.

@avon oh yes, right at the beginning of development I figured, I won't have enough time to balance the game in a way, that would satisfy everyone and replaying the game from the beginning or a checkpoint wouldn't be that interesting (debugging the game, I didn't even play it myself from the beginning everytime). So I figured respawning with a death counter as some form of highscore challenge might be the best way to go.

It took me a bit to figure out what was going on, but the game was pretty fun once I did. I felt accomplished once I figured out what to do at each stage. Some sound effects could help to make communication more clear, and gameplay more satisfying. Nice job overall!

This was a really great idea! Nice and fun and straight to the point. I loved all the upgrades you can get too! Made it fun to experiment with different weapons while avoiding the big evil face. Great job! I really like the effect of the mouse falling to the floor when you die too, as well as getting the smaller face to break the blocks for you. Fantastic game!

You did some clever things in this game! Audio would've helped tremendously, but the game itself is pretty good. The thing where it duplicates the mice and then shoots them down is pretty smart and helps let the player know what is coming. Nicely done!
