world first!
:)
nice game! my only real criticism is that I didn't really know what the Altar did, i had to replay up to that part to understand it. (Turns out it was because I placed it in a crummy spot)

Fun game! both our games are about resource management!
There was a small problem with the pigs. Sometimes they just stacked together and acted as if there was only one pig. Well that was really 'piggy' XD. Anyway, I still enjoyed the game ♥

Animations and sound are going so good hand in hand! Great!
It would be nice to remove not only trees, but also buildings.

Maybe remove the vocals from the music theme...?
I thought that it was an interesting decision to have the cost of the houses scale up as more were built, but to have the cost of everything else stay constant. This led to me ending up with a lot of pigs and trying to come up with ways to contain them and stop them from competing for the same trees. I also found that the alter was almost pointless to build, as far as I could tell the bonus that it gave never really scaled up, and collecting from several houses, allowing it to work, played havoc with the pathing of my people. These complaints were very minor though, I thought that this was a great game overall and has an amount of polish that I see in very few LD games. Great job!
I like that there's not really a "score", so there's no stress about doing things wrong, but on the other hand that probably means there's less replay value (which doesn't matter at all for LD, of course).
One thing I'd have liked to have is a way to zoom in or out, but missing that isn't too bad because the island never gets too big anyway.
Well done!
It feels like something big should happen when I finally get my obelisk. I am writing this comment while I wait for coconuts. 500?! Really?!
Very cool game. I think what I liked most was how every different way of gathering devotion was useful. Like usually you have one thing that is greatly more useful than others, but I always got a good chunk of devotion from blessings, offering pits and the pigs, that felt very balanced to me. Another thing I enjoyed greatly was how the little coconut islanders hopped around synched to the music, that was very mesmerizing to look at. And I also would like to praise the quest structuring, it was always clear what the goal was, and I think that's adds a lot of fun with games centered around building. All in all, a very good game!
The mechanics provide a nice and interesting gameplay, however i felt it lacked some kind of challenge. I guess the proposal is to be a chill game after all, given the fact that the last objective is more of a waiting until you got the resources you need than find a solution to find the resources.
Excellent job anyway.
