Interesting concept!

Starting off with a shorter word, or with less unique colors, could give it a more gradual difficulty curve. Good puzzle concept.

I really like the concept. Like another user said it would be nice to start with a smaller word and work your way up since it is pretty difficult. Very unique mechanic!

Yeah, I definitely like the concept as well. I agree with others saying that it's pretty difficult. Maybe have a couple of levels with the letters apart from each other on the board that way they still spell nothing.

Pretty neat! I assume a lower score is better? My total was 210 XD

Maaaan this took me some time :D
Definitely could use an easier learning curve, but I really like this concept. Would work absolutely great on mobile, too! You should continue the development of this!

I'm really torn at rating the graphics... I love how the letters look and the cool light-effects that are used but the ugly interface (the font and setting of the "colour-counter") damages the appearance.

@willoxs Thank you. That's something i gotta learn how to do properly before the next Ludum Dare.

Really nice looking puzzle game, simple and clear, controls are nice. One thing i would love to see is a way to revert last action

@demuss That's a good idea. I think it could be done in a form of being able to go backwards, removing the trail. Thanks!

I really liked the soothing music and the look of the graphics and light effects on the letters, very cool! Great idea for puzzle game! I feel like it would be good to start the game with shorter word as this is a hard beginning XD

Interesting and innovative concept! I like the audio and the blocks with letters. I played a few levels, are they fixed or are they generated?

@papaver

Thank you. Yes, levels are generated. There is also a difficulty increase between levels. It can be hard to notice though. After a few levels there's a chance to generate vertical target, after a few more - diagonal.

I love how you took the theme literally, its extremely difficult though, I think the random generation wasn't the best choice, I refreshed the page a few times to see how the generation would change and sometimes even the first level was very tough, maybe a few hand curated levels with an increasing difficulty would have been better

I love all the visuals for the tiles! The effects and sound are remarkably similar to the game we made (so needless to say I like them a lot!)
It's a frustrating game at first, but not impossible by any means. I was hooked on it for the longest time, and I'll definitely be returning to it later. This game would work really well as a mobile app, something you could play in your spare time where ever you happen to be.
Great job on this one!

Edit: I left the game open in another tab while I worked, the music is just so relaxing and nice

@nobongo Thank you. This is my first time designing and programming a game for a game jam, normally i'm just an art and music guy. This means a lot to me that I've managed to create something that people can find interesting.
