was fun, but the player handled kinda awkwardly.

Great animations! The movement is a bit floaty, and some of the UI is a bit lacking, but it's a pretty good submission. The models are well done. Good job!

So, first things first - this game looks incredible, so cute and fun graphically. I wish there was more incentive to hurt the enemies, since you can simply jump over them to avoid them in every case. I also wish there was more feedback on when the character is hit than just the health indicator in the HUD. Aside from that, great job, I had fun collecting acorns and the platforming aspect was especially nice and well done. :)

For me movement felt a bit floaty and the gameplay didn't really drive home the feeling of the theme. But I dig the art style and audio, those are pretty good for something made in a couple of days.

The movement mechanics weren't to soft, but nice visuals. Good job!

I struggled a bit with the controls but I really like the art!

Loved the heck out of the 3d style, such a clean overall look in such a short time! UVs, textures, everything looked well polished and the mood/music had a lighthearted feel I could easily get in to. Definitely not a game for sensitive mouse settings, though. Unity can have pretty janky ass collisions at times. Great stuff again!

@toge you know, it wasn't something that was thought about at all during the making, only twigged how much of a pain it can be when i played another game with super high sensitivity. would have been such an easy thing to sort out and kinda kicking myself.. well, there's always the 2020 game jams.. xD

The enemy physics were funny. Art was happy. It was cool to find new abilities.

nice idea and some decent 3D models, controls felt really odd to me, would have mabye liked smoother sideways walking and more air control but overall pretty good :)

I really like the art style and particle effects, and the music was great. It was a bit annoying restarting from the very beginning when you die, and the movement was a bit floaty. However, I really liked the amount of content, the large world, and the variation in enemies and traps. Nice job!

Awesome game! I really would like to have mouse sensitivity option for this kind of game. I loved the artwork and the music. You need to polish the character movement a little bit. Currently it accelerates to fast, making it too hard to do precise platforming.

I had fun playing it! Thanks for the game!

Hi there, great submission! Loved the artstyle and music. Initial thoughts were that running around felt like I was on ice and jumping would break your velocity. But that was easy to ignore! Had fun playing it!

I really liked the 3D style. I just found that the back and forth movements were making the character go a distance away the moment it changes direction, causing me to lose the precision of his control.

Congratulations for the work !!!

I found the camera to be a bit annoying since it was blocked often by other objects. If you use Cinemachine, you can add a component to the virtual camera that pulls the camera forward when the player is occluded.

great visuals lovely music have you tried smoothing a bit the terrain I felt in some areas it was hard to move around because of the steepness of the mountains.

I enjoyed the graphics style and music as well as general level and character design. Camera, collisions and physics make it difficult to play. The player character moves really unnaturally and it's hard to get a feel for it.

This was fun! I really liked the artstyle. The movement felt a little floaty for me but that's hard to tune during a game jam. Great job!

The graphic style and the musics are great! The character is so cute. The animation is a bit weird but it's a game of gamejam and time is limited! Really good job, nice game !

Nice art, not so good design and controller. Path feels really obvious and clunky controls prevent having fun in the platformer parts

Looks and sounds great! The music is really catchy and the character seems to strut along to the beat. It's already been said, but the controllers were kinda floaty and it was easy to get stuck. It felt like the platforming sections weren't really designed for the size of the jumps and strides. But you could definitely tighten that up and turn this into something really cool! The beetle shooting fricking beams at me caught me so off guard! 😱

@elysiagriffin yeah definitely, i think the general consensus was spot on, and i'll have to take the blame for that. poor movement and camera work. i think next time, it would be better to just use cinemachine and the built in player controller
