Cool feeling. You could block the paddle from leaving the level. If i press one direction for some time, it will take that amount time to bring it back in the level. As much as this theme seems to promote incremental games and power-up themed ones (usually platformers), there are some cool twists on it like this one.\n\nI like how the game didn't really have any losing conditions, but instead is just based around getting the job done as fast as possible. It makes for a less frustrating and more relaxing gameplay, which I appreciate in Jam games.\n\nThe graphics are simple, but functional, and there are some stars in the background too. Sound effects are fitting. While I initially didn't know what are these counters above for (especially the constant 0 ones), I eventually figured it out while playing 2nd level.\n\nPretty cool game, overall. ^^\n\n(by the way, my final score was 104483)","likes":1,"format":"md"}],"format":"md","images":["ld45\/170446-a2296d134457029c242c8c396e7d984e.gif"],"links":[{"url":"https:\/\/triplefox.itch.io\/bricklayer","text":"Youtube"}],"metadata":{"g_key":"55600","g_author":"1108401","g_event":"LD45","g_eventkey":"78","g_subevent":"JAM","g_urlkey":"263048","g_title":"Bricklayer!","g_status":"PVT1","g_place":"673","g_commentcount":"16","g_site2_node_id":"170446","g_hide":"N","g_has_icon":"Y","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":{"n_key":"170446","n_urlkey":"263048","n_parent":"159347","n_path":"\/events\/ludum-dare\/45\/bricklayer","n_slug":"bricklayer","n_type":"item","n_subtype":"game","n_subsubtype":"jam","n_author":"108401","n_created":"1570329649","n_modified":"1570441197","n_version":"506973","n_status":"COMMIT"},"node":{"id":170446,"parent":159347,"superparent":9,"author":108401,"type":"item","subtype":"game","subsubtype":"jam","published":"2019-10-07T05:11:38Z","created":"2019-10-06T02:40:49Z","modified":"2019-10-07T09:39:57Z","version":506973,"slug":"bricklayer","name":"Bricklayer!","body":"![brick_ld.gif](\/\/\/raw\/177\/a1\/z\/26d19.gif)\n\nBuilder Bat needs help laying the bricks for his newest construction project.\nCan you help?\n\nTo play, run main.exe and press the \"A\" key to begin.
