This is cool and different. The shift mechanic is a little awkward to understand, I just kind of kept hitting shift and jumping around until I landed on the right plane, but the idea is great. I only checked out the compo version.

One of the only games to make me laugh out loud so far, high marks for humor. Nice work!

Very nice, I got the star in the clouds, is that *really* the end? Would be cool to expand on the shift mechanic!

Graphics are right up my alley. I enjoyed the retro look. The shift mechanic was fresh. I liked being able to hop from plane to plane. I really liked the twist with the princess.

Good game, the post compo version is way better to play. I struggled quite hard climbing in the compo version. The sound is really nice.

Really liked the aesthetic of this game! Definitely gunna step through that shader code later! Also, getting some Pony Island vibes from this game! If you haven't played that game I'd definitely check it out!

Shift/perspective mechanic was really cool too! My main issue is that there was a point when I fell from the clouds back onto the ground later in the game and had to jump all the way back up (I must have still been holding shift).

Great game! I really enjoyed this!

Loved the graphics on this! The whole thing is executed really well and ties nicely into the theme! I was a little confused at the start because I kept just pressing the button. Eventually I realized that I could walk over some land and the real fun began!

P.S. just opened up your source to see how you did the rendering. Downscaling via a RenderTexture, clever!

Wow how peculiar. I really enjoyed all the surprises and got up to the 'there's no secret ending yet' dialogue. Checking back with the walkthrough, I think I discovered everything there was to discover. I loved the bright, bold and lighthearted visuals. I was like, oh, that's the princess!

The ocean layer's use of a big foreground block was really cool. The shift mechanic was super interesting too. It essentially flattened the image and combined layers right?

A small bug: the top shadow texture of the tower flickered a bit when I was jumping around the tower.

Dying at the locations below respawned me on a sloped edge. I proceeded to slip off.

Interesting game, and I really like the simplistic look of it, very nice. The glitch sound was a bit harsh on the ears though. Good job nonetheless!

Great idea on how to move among different layers! Controll feels smooth and nice. Climbing might be hard sometimes in the compo version.

Love this platformer! Great humor and love the smooth graphics. Landing properly and jumping up was sometimes a bit tough to do, but otherwise the execution was flawless and I loved the glitch effects. Awesome entry

I really love the aliasing feelings of the graphics in this platfomer, it's pretty unique and stands out among the pixel arts. Despite the graphics, the story and the glitch effects are fun too! An amazing game.

I love the humor of this game and the art style, the audios superb and the controls are smooth like butter, my favorite part has to be when you glitch out the characters it's really fun, this game has a lot of promise and I hope to see more from you in the future.

Now that was interesting. Everything about this game is quite different from the standard, which I like a lot. Really enjoyed discovering the mechanics, world and story. The art style is also pretty damn cool in all its glitchy goodness. I only found the controls to be a bit frustrating sometimes, especially when trying to jump on a button from the side (played the compo version). Great game overall, and it really stands out quite a bit. I could very well imagine this getting developed into something bigger.

I loved your game so much ! Climbing in compo version is really impossible or i couldn't figured it out. Post-compo is great. I loved how player rotates according to the ground. It's like a small detail but impressed me a lot  Error graphics are too realistic 😭 Just may be shifting dimensions could be toggle instead of we should keep holding shift button.

the concept of creation step by step AND the shift command is so nice !!!
But the control are sometime really frustrating i miss so many time the button/bumper that i figure i have no skill ( i played post compo )
and you dont have the information of shift key anywhere ?
this sad because you really polish it with storyline

anyway this fit perfecly the theme and a top tier in innovation for sure ;)
Hard game to improve so good luck !
