Who's Your Weapon is totally dope!

My favorite part was definitely the graphics and sound. The neon RGB color palette looked really sharp, the cube particle effects added some nice extra "sizzle" to explosions and enemy deaths, and the soundtrack was straight-up invigorating.

As for gameplay, it was definitely cool getting to experiment with the different weapons, especially given that they each feel pretty different to use (although sometimes I would want to get killed specifically so I could try out a new weapon, LOL).

To improve, I'd want to see some sound FX, as well as some more visual juice, just to give the game a bit of extra pizzazz.

Otherwise, super well done! The game looks really slick, especially for something that came out of a 2-day game jam. :D

Good graphics, smooth controls, enjoyable gameplay. It's simple and interesting. Nice work! But once I had only one room to go and it hadn't got any exits :D

Really nice idea! I was confused at first, I wonder if maybe there could be a way to steal a weapon without dying? I also got stuck in a configuration with no exit so I ended up having to quit. With some tweaking and bug fixes I think this could be a really great experience!

This was a pretty fun game! The simple art style worked quite well, and the gameplay seemed interesting. One thing I felt was that the sword was a little OP compared to the other two weapons (or the other two were underpowered...), since with the dash time being uncapped you can just dash all over the place and mash the fire button to kill most things while taking very little damage, compared to the rocket launcher where you need to lead your enemies and can get hit in the crossfire. I did love things like the rocket launchers dash being a rocket jump. There were some framerate drops when a few enemies were on screen at once but that's to be expected with lighting effects in a game jam game, just figured I'd mention it. I did appreciate the random level design, that's not always easy to implement. Good work!

@brokenmirrormedia Thanks! It's odd, every playtester thinks a different weapon is OP! I tried to make it so different weapons were better against different enemies not by stats but by the circumstance of mechanics but it could definitely use some work. Thanks for playing

@kevin-ray Huh that's pretty interesting, probably has something to do with people's unique playstyle. I certainly like the rush and dodge style of gameplay so I had better luck with the sword, but if someone was more careful and accurate the other two weapons would be more useful to them.
