Magic Melody by jcklie

This game is an audio-based puzzler. You need to mix the sound beams in a way so that they make the same sound as the targets and goal. Move with arrow keys and interact with Space. Restart with Enter. It needs a while after the start screen to react to the Enter. We did not have a good idea for the topic and just wanted to do something with audio.

Interesting concept! I like the use of audio as a game mechanic. It would be interesting if you could incorporate the theme into the game!

A special and intriguing game. A kind of sound puzzle quite addictive.

This was innovative. It reminded me a bit about the audio puzzles in The Witness. However I found it hard to know how to match the sources and sinks (maybe that would be obvious for someone knowing about sources and sinks :)). I found the third level very hard, it felt like I had to try every possible solution.

Well done!

Thanks! We had many ideas that went unimplemented because we only spent two days. For example, certain intervals were meant to have different effects (perfect fifths were generally meant to open doors, major thirds heal, tritones deal damage, etc.)...

An interesting concept, but really hard if you don't have a good musical ear.
