Dream of Quantum String is a short idle game created for the Ludem Dare 45 Game Jam! the prompt was "Start with nothing".

The Game, and all its assets(Including Music) was written/created over two days.

:Features Include:

~30 minutes of gameplay

7 great music tracks

a short story about the universe

mediocre programmer art!

:Controls:

SPACEBAR : Use for most actions, advancing text, gaining points, etc...

'Z' Key : Use to purchase upgrades (when they are available...)

Arrow Keys : Used to navigate Menu (when it is available...)

'F' Key : Toggle Fullscreen.

The music is gorgeous and the theme interpretation is nice, but it feels like all you're doing is pressing the space bar.

I first thought that this was going to be boring, but when I realized what was happening, I got interested. Ended up going through the entire game. Amazing music as well. Nice job!

Good job, you really nailed the mood well with the combination of the minimalist graphics and the cool music. Though clickers are not my thing, I found myself just sitting back for a bit, listening to the music and watching the strings fly around :)

I really like the idea behind the game and the music is super nice.
But yeah the gameplay can get a little bit boring, due to just pressing the same button and doing the same thing over.

Nice little clicker game, but this one compared to others really embraces the theme and genuinly had me captivated. What was next? What was after that? I can't lie though I was a little disappointed at the ending. But then again I would have probably done the same thing. The game does become a little repetitive, but the fact you made unique music for each section was very impressive. Nice work!

A quite ... zen game? The idea is good but the gameplay is kind of boring. The music is also impressive. Overall nice job!

I loved it, wish I could click though T_T, my poor spacebar! :).

I fell down the clicker path and clicked space around quadrylion times, nice example of making clicker game with story. Great adventure, thanks!
