I really liked this one!

The stick is super OP!

If I had a bit of feedback, it's that the Void boss doesn't have a 'hurt' frame or animation, so it's hard to tell if hitting it is doing any damage.

I also didn't feel the "Start With Nothing" theme as much, as the three playthroughs I did always put me with a weapon before I encountered any enemy. However, I loved that you could attack while 'falling'. That was probably my fave bit.

Otherwise, a nice, short-and-sweet RPG.

Yeah that's very true @davidsheadgames this one doesn't super fit nicely in that Start With Nothing theming. I probably should have looked for ways to make it feel more like you were in need of items your didn't have. Had I focused on that a bit more I think adding some basic item collection "puzzles" or something like that might have been a good fit.

I liked the feel of this game. It felt like the controls were slightly off, but it might just be the movement speed or a slight animation thing. I haven't managed to kill the void boss

Good work on this though. The minimal color pallette looks really nice and I love the music and SFX

Thanks so much for playing and for your feedback @kazatan yeah, that's fair enough. The movement / animations are definitely one of those things I'd have liked to spend more time polishing up and fine tuning.

The graphics and mood are great and occasionally I couldn't tell why I wasn't hitting the skeleton. A knockback or particle effect would have helped.

most of all, I like the name you chose, really hard to chose a name imo

@snufkinshat definitely! I tried to have a knock back when you hit enemies but I think at times its a bit buggy :/ Oh well, all just part of making games real quick :P

Lol, thanks @nachtwitch yeah I thought of that one and it stuck simply because after spinning my wheels on names for like 10 minutes that was the only like kinda good name I could come up with :P

Really nice sounds the music track that plays in this is really nice to listen and I didn't realize it until the music left and I was about to fight the void and grabbed a weapon that the weapons had a sound for swinging them. I wish the void showed some sign it was damaged but it not having a hurt frame didn't stop me from beating the game so alls well that ends well.

A cute game, with great graphics, I enjoyed the animations and the music! I kept dying before I came to this boss, so I will probably try it again later

I like that mood and style. It's not critic but I see elements through the character, maybe it can be an interesting mechanic ?)) ![Screen Shot 2019-10-11 at 7.52.37 PM.png](///raw/362/a2/z/29658.png)

I like this! I wish I could zoom out a bit to see where I'm going. I found a stick! I found a mace! I found a sword! I'm invincible! HOLY FUCK THAT VOID SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME. I'm dead.

10/10 would die again.

Nice dungeon game, the esthetic is retro but disparition effect of the monsters is a resizing a sprite then i would like to see them explode with pixels ! Else it's a good game !

@robowarrior1982 That is a really good idea! If I ever continue working on this or something similar I will definitely look to do something like that.

That was great, loved it! Very good work on sounds and arts, and the game is pleasant to play overall. I can now say to my emo friends that I saw the void. And he is scary

Nice little dungeon crawler! I like the look and the music although the sound levels for the sound effects were a little quiet until you get to the boss where they're almost too loud.

Thanks for the feedback @silkworm-sweatshop yeah that's fair enough, I wanted to try to find a balance between the music and sound effects. I wanted to make the effects heard but only barely noticed so that the music remains at the forefront but I think you're definitely right that taking some time to level that out a bit would be good :)

Very nice music. I really appreciated it. Too bad that the graphics doesnt match the music quality. They are competent enough for a jam but not near as good as the music. Sorry.

The game mechanics are pretty easy to understand and the controls respond well, which is good.

Nice job!

Thanks for playing my game @derek-volker I'm really glad to hear you thought the music was good :) Yeah, I am admittedly not an artist so my go to is always very low pixel artwork :P
