Little Something is a small game made with love (and Unity), allowing you to start from a blank canvas, and create the world of your dreams with other people !

You can play the game with a keyboard (using arrow keys or WASD) and a mouse (use PageUp and PageDown if you don't have a scroll wheel), by simpling moving around and clicking to build thing.

Even if you can't see them around you, everything you'll come across in the world has been put here by other players, and the more things are built, the more items will become available.

Now please enjoy the world of Little Something, and thanks to you for playing my game !

Holy moly a multiplayer game in a jam? I'm impressed. The graphics are cute and fun, I like them a lot. I am unsure if it is true networked multiplayer or if the map is just saved and shared since I'm the only one logged in right now. I unlocked the flowers for everybody :sunflower: My only wish is that I could zoom out the camera or see a top down map. Very innovative take on the theme!

This is wonderful and amazing! One of the best (if not the best) game at this LD! Nice graphics and (really working?) multiplayer! Of course, it’s a pity that there is no way to rotate objects and put them close enough to each other, but nevertheless the game is super cute and beautiful!

This is awesome, as idea for LD this stands out. Not that I would meet there anyone, maybe it does not even work like that? But spent some time there planting some things and thinking about them being synced to others is refreshing. Also very cute potato cat.

@dougdevs @betelgeuseman @onnofal Thank you all for your feedbacks, I really appreciate that you got the pace of the game right and liked it !

For your questions about multiplayer, it's a mix between synchronous and asynchronous multiplayer : you won't see anyone on the map, but if someone build something near you, you'll see it within a short time ;)

Lovely concept, very innovative, the graphics are very nice. The main character is well crafted.

I'd love some way of seeing what other's have done more obviously. I struggled to find a specific piece of art or collection of things which I went "That's cool". I did think the whole concept was cool though. It's probably just some extra controls like have already been mentioned - zooming out or rotating for example.

the lil ball of cat is adorable, really nice concept and getting that set up in 72 hours is pretty impressive, would have been nice to be able to zoom out and see a wider area but really good idea, kinda reminded me of things like Curiosity: what's inside the cube

The graphics look great! I love idea, it is very innovative and fits the theme amazingly. Although, the scrolling was far too sensitive for my mouse so it was basically random, but I managed to build various things and I had a great time building a small lake area and exploring! Amazing game! :smiley:

I have taken a little time to understand that it was in multiplayer but... when i thought of this...
ITS THE BEST IDEA ;) well done ^^ but its regretable that we cant turn the camera

Lovely! I would like to have a minimap or less restricting camera angle to be able to explore other peoples things!

Really cool take on this LDs theme! I thought that your graphics were quite cool, and I like the design of having things unlock as items get placed by everyone. It was quite cool to wander around and see a group of objects and know that those were placed by another player. Well done!

Really nice concept, lovely graphics!
Pushes my Curiosity hard on knowing what's the final item we can unlock.

Gives me the need to come back later to see if the Community worked well :D Congrats for the cool concept, and neat execution!

great idea! I really like the concept. I had some trouble adjusting the view, I would have love to look at 'that everything' fom a different perspective. The selection by scrolling worked very fast on my conputer , so that was almost random, I'd like to be able to select the different items another way. Anyway one of the best entries!

Cool concept! Art is really nice and cute. Some more items or flexibility with what you could do with them and adding some chill music would probably make me want to go explore more. Still cool for a compo!

If all social networks looks like this game the world would be such a better place! Imagine walking around and inviting other cats to the corner you built? Instant childhood memory.

Awesome graphics and character! Even without audio it gets me in the mood instantly seeing that cute lil cat bouncing around.

Thanks for giving me ideas for my next jam haha. I'd love to be able to do something multiplayer next time.

Neat little idea, although it's just about that in the end. No object rotation and no player synchronisation make the addition of multiplayer a fairly trivial feature, as it's pretty much equivalent to continuously polling a JSON file somewhere on the web. Still, it's neat, and I wish there had been a sort of minimap or zoom-out feature so I could see what else was there beside the few ponds I placed. :)

Cute game! I enjoyed walking around and placing stuff, and watching what other people made. As others already mentioned, it would have been nice to be able to turn the camera or zoom out. I think the next.

Oooh I saw stuff appearing! That means someone else is playing as well! I found the edge of the map, walked off, and couldn't walk on again.

I am curious what the next item will be!
