This lonely planet wants all the moons. But it has to get big enough to get all of them.

Moons give you score multipliers.

Asteroids increase your score, range, and gravity.

I enjoyed this game! I was a little confused at first, I was trying to suck as many of the planets in as possible. Turns out that's not what you're supposed to do. I had to play a few times to get the hang of it.

Cool concept. It's part Agar.io and part Tetris with some nicely implemented physics thrown in. The addition of the orbital defense objects gives it all an element of strategy, too. All it needed was some soothing background tunes. Good job!

Simple yet fun! I like how you can shrink planets by hitting them with the things that orbit around you. And having to maneuver around bigger planets and trying to get other ones to stick on you just right makes it pretty fun and adds a good challenge

Cool game! I was a bit confused at the beginning, but after a while I got the hang of it and it got fun! I really like these simple mechanics, that will keep you playing and make you wanting to improve your highscore.

With a bit more explanation (and maybe controls to rotate your planet?) this can be released I think!

Well done!

This is really good! I love the colourful visuals and the game concept is very innovative. There's a great risk vs reward system in place where getting a moon will increase your multiplier but put you at risk of it hitting one of the asteroids. Game feel was well done too; I love the screenshake and the visual effects for when a collision happens or when getting an asteroid. I feel that this game would be a lot better if there were sounds and music, as those would play in largely to the atmosphere of the game and also improve the game feel. Particle effects would also be great, such as having little pieces of rock release after a moon/asteroid collision, just to make the world feel more alive. Next time I'd suggest delegating more time towards those two things, as they have quite a significant positive influence on the final product. Overall, good job!

Consider yourself reminded to play my game ;)

Meanwhile I played yours! which is fun, seems like it can take a lot of practice to get higher and higher scores in this one, potentially. Solid graphics, too

It took me a while to realise how big I get, but this was thought out and planned well. Moons can be lost, asteroids could either get smaller due to sacrificing of moons, or avoided altogether until you get big enough.

Neat game!

@jupiter-hadley woah! Fancy seeing you here! I remember you had played my LD game 4 years ago!

Glad you're still around doing what you love!

@cdunham glad you enjoyed the challenge. what was your high score?

@xakkar yeah im planning on making a mobile build sometime

@drtizzle thanks man! yeah i might actually release this. rotate controls would be nice, but im not sure how the controls would on mobile. what was your high score?

@megalink glad you liked it! yeah i was going to put in sound effects and debris but i ran out of time. when i release this for real i'll definitely add that

@alicecrd thanks! the graphics were done by Szymon Furjan, you should check out his work. he makes tons of desktop-background-worthy vector arts

@iak thanks for the reminder! your game was awesome :D what was your highscore in my game?

@itsdanidre thanks! im glad you enjoyed it

love gravity base mechanics, this makes me remember of super planet crasher and Mario Galaxy, but with a kinda Katamari approach perhaps ... the menu is well worked as well which makes it feel more polished
