Empty box by Corentin Benoit-Gonin

2019-10-13 07:08 UTC v.0.24: Eliminated a lot of typos.

2019-10-09 04:34 UTC v.0.23: Since final cutscene wasn't meant to be silent, I added some small SFX to make it a little less dry.

2019-10-08 03:50 UTC v.0.22: Fixed a bug making sound effects loop during dialogues.

2019-10-07 10:55 UTC v.0.21: I was short on time for the music... But at least it's fully functional ! Maybe I will add them later.

Wow such a wholesome game! I loved the message, the graphics, and it was pretty entertaining! If you added some cute music that would really tie everything together. Great job!

Very adorable game, with a really nice set of graphics and story. I love room puzzle type games, and this is packed with a nice story along with it.

Very nice game! Music would be nice, but even without I felt as if I was in the room :)
Slight critique: Text was sometimes hard to read in the pixel style

First some criticism: I missed an option to go back in dialogue when I accidentally clicked too fast, but that's a minor issue. There's a typo ("... it's been a while since I didn't *played* it"). Oh, and personally I had problems with this pixel font, I had to focus a lot to be able to read it. Now for the positive! I adore the concept; room-search is always fun and I liked that you didn't always outright say what to do. The mirror was a great touch. But the story and the mixed emotions (switching back and forth between missing the friend and being angry/sad), and then the sweet ending, were definitely the best part! I did not even mind that it's a linear story, I enjoyed uncovering the next part. :) Well done!

Really enjoyed it! (Other than some grammar errors and typos, though not sure if English is your first language) Worked well in a one-room setting, and sound while minimal was effective.

Edit: I corrected a lot of them! :)

Indeed it's not!
Did you write the errors down by any chance? I should correct them quickly.

@catusfelony Thank you! <3

And yes, the html encapsulation of Pico-8 is pretty neat for non-action focused games! I love the fact that it transforms your phone into a GameBoy basically!
