Teotl by Dumivid

Questions/Advice:

What's the point? I kept the game as clean as possible. Collect or survive. The more you collect, the bigger will be the cloud in the end.

Music volume jumps. The song was randomly generated. Sorry for the annoying parts, but this was my best luck.

SFX makes no sense. Ge-ne-ra-ted. The sound overall is the most frustrating part, but I did my best to reduce all the damage to the Universe.

The game is slow/boring & you miss the theme. The same answer for both - this theme is the worst I ever got in a game jam. I will be very happy to hear how to improve the game AND keep the theme.

I hope you guys had more fun and inspiration than I did. Thank you for playing my game. Wish you good fortune and more fun next time!

That's a nice idea and the font is so amazing... A score amount would be great :D

The game really needs a score. I also think that different types of enemies could also be cool, like enemies that does damage in the opposite light, this way, when all turns white, it could still have a little bit of challenge and when there is light the game will be a little less boring.
In overall, the art is really neat, and the game looks really pleasant for the eyes.

@fictions @radgegames @konomizure Not including a high score was an artistic choice (to not overwhelm the game field with elements). I know that without one the game feels "meaningless" but with one I would feel less "authentic". Anyway, thx for the advice.

@jajakeim Thx, I hope too that it will be a next time :D.

@danielcmcg Thx, the visuals took 100% of my soul with this game, and gameplay took 0%...

Cool art style, nice and simple. I didn't really feel any progression while playing, still pretty fun

Beautiful art ! It's like the "Pac-man & Ghosts" mechanic, sometimes you have to avoid, sometimes you have to chase ! I like it ! Nice game !

@odeyalko @rhymar @sp3sheep @t-bo @torami @marchmain Thx guys. I suppose I should rename from "a game" into "a screensaver", maybe ill get more traction that way xD.

Interesting game, I wish the way of input was more interesting to make it more challenging, solid entry nonetheless.

Clean and simple, but I'm missing the theme

There are an interesting style and pleasant music, but it looks like a game needs a finished end or additional mechanics (what with cloud) or score.
Good luck with ideas for the theme next time!

Hello there other C2, glad to see you here. My first try I just died because I thought it was a title screen but it was the game already, weird choice of scenario but cool. I just wish I could control the character through the keyboard instead of clicking, but great game nevertheless. Good job :D

@dqmhose @mutuware @p-r @mountday Thx. I think you all have noticed where I putt all my attention, but yeah, the game is dry af.
@hcursino C2 has its own limitations. It's very good for fast prototypes, but in the long run, it fails. If you have enough time/desire I would suggest to find out a better engine.

@dumivid I work using unity. But since for I had to work alone and with a 48 hours deadline, I find C2 way faster to work with.
