An interesting idea for a survival game! The nights get fairly hectic when a lot of drones come in, and I sure don't want them to get that banana cake recipe! I liked that you implemented a day and night system, and the crafting system, albeit simple, worked well enough and was implemented nicely. Combat with the drones felt pretty nice, and although it wasn't too difficult taking on just one, it quickly became more of a fun challenge when I starting getting attacked by more of them.

The visuals in the game were simplistic, but definitely worked in conveying what was going on. Some of the animations, especially for chopping down trees, felt a bit slow, but in general the ones that you had were pretty good! The audio was also simple but effective, although the background music felt a tad bit repetitive. It might be too much to ask, but it also would've been nice to see some other music, or perhaps a lack thereof, during the nights.

Overall, it does implement starting with nothing, with the player having to craft everything they need from scratch, and the gameplay was fairly fun and thought out. Nice work!

This was pretty ambitious, nice job. I had some troubles with the controls though, I think the mouse sensitivity might have been a little too high for me, and it was a little laggy which made it hard to click on things. But the graphics were pretty great and the crafting system worked well, so nice job!

This is incredibly ambitious, I am surprised how put together this is for a 48 hour game jam

Really neat game! I could see myself playing this even outside of LD. You might want to put in some boundaries around the level, or kill the player if you walk too far and fall off the edge of the hills. :D

If I had something better than a 4 year old laptop, I might be able to enjoy and rate this, haha

Really neat and awesome except that an error came up and it crashed.

This is a lot more functional than I would expect from a ```farming/survival/wave fighting game``` (that's a lot of things) made in a game jam, nice work :thumbsup:
Things I enjoyed:
* very ambitions scope for a jam
* lots of content
* nice graphics
* good, integrated tutorial

Some things that I think would make the game more enjoyable:
* weird controls: mouse sensitivty is off the charts, attacking only works when facing the drones, so no winding up swings while strafing
* no way to recover after walking out of bounds

@vovin Thanks for your feedback!

Normally it shouldn't be possible to walk out of bounds. I guess some colliders are wrongly placed or something. We'll probably make a bugfix release were we fix the mouse sensitivity and the out of bounds error.

Also as @sillyman987 said, sometimes the game crashes. It seams to crash when a player / base dies. We'll also look into it.

Thanks to all for your valuable feedback!

A lot of progress for 48hours!
The small issue I found in html5 version - the camera is constantly autorotating to the left, so to go right I needed to compensate this by moving mouse right real fast. I guess its unintentional :)

Wow damn. Great submission. Idk why but reminded me of the first rust release (that was playable in the browser). Especially sick considering this was done in less than 72 hours! Had some problems with the controls and the mouse felt a litle to sensitive! Keep it going guys!!

Very fun game, would love to see this be developed into a proper game with more content and perhaps some random/procedural elements? Great job!

You did an extremely impressive job in this short amount of time! The graphics were nice and I enjoyed the gameplay. I think the fence could use a gate, felt strange to keep jumping over my own fence :wink:

I can confirm that the game crashes when a player dies. Seems to do it quite consistently, at least for me.

A very complete game, great job. One thing I missed is a more powerful swing, it can really makes a difference for how the game and the combat feels.

Great, well polished and balanced game. I like that you took time to adjust rewards so that I could buy something every day.

I have magaged to get to day 10, after that I got already reported error, but I don't think it was because of player death for me, might be because the building got destroyed.

One thing I'd like you to change would be to allow player to attack with pickaxe, not just axe, even with the same bonus.

Awesome graphics and animations. Background music, although short didn't feel too repetitive, complemented with fitting SFX (perhaps randomize pitch a bit +/- 10% works nice for me - I'm not sure if you did that, if you did I didn't notice)

Great job and I hope to play your next game in April. Cheers!
