Really it seems like you need to establish a foothold with fortress trees and slowdowns before you have a chance of your cross plants suriving the way of 10 angry humans that immediately descend.\n\nAlso also, I sometimes found my tiles to be under attack even in blocks that had no humans left (and before the panic meter recached a point where the humans can migrate).","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"OccultOne","author_uid":"1000603","time":"2019-10-21T20:15:22Z","epoch":1571688922,"modified":1571688922,"text":"We had a very similar thought to this when we were brainstorming, I'm so glad someone else did Plant Apocalypse! It was one of my favorites, we eventually did Darkness Apocalypse instead.\n\nThis was a really neat idea, I'm sad you guys didn't get further than the base engine. It has some interesting things going on, I wasn't able to get past about 25% of the city, at which point they started chewing away at me faster than I could do anything about.\n\nReally neat idea, great to see other city-builder style games!","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"Terribly Awesome Games","author_uid":"1036509","time":"2019-10-22T19:02:33Z","epoch":1571770953,"modified":1571770953,"text":"I really like this idea, and I think I'd enjoy playing it! My biggest complaint is that arrow keys + mouse doesn't really work very well, at least not for me. They're both to the left of my body which means I need to maintain a weird posture while playing.
