This game has a neat atmosphere, if you decide to expand it after the jam and add some serious story, the vibe is so nice it'll really amplify whatever you put into it :) Secondly: obviously this was for a short jam and not really a time to nitpick details, but I will say about the music--there's a lot of tracks that play very briefly and then fade out again, and they were so short and abrupt that I kept thinking they were sound effects, aka indicative of something accomplished/found, so I'd wait for something to happen, and then after a while continue on, guessing it was the music? But nice sounds though haha, I like where this is going

@vividglo Thank you for the feedback. We're doing a post-jam version so this feedback is really useful, will write it down on our todo list :)

@luc-dercourt Happy you liked the atmosphere and thanks for the feedback! Please be more specific about these bugs, so that we can fix them ASAP :( And if they're only cosmetic, we're still interested because we're going to create a post-jam version :)

It's a too big bone for little skeleton!) Nice graphic and this little camp is really sweet. The music is too nice and relax.
Maybe it's just me, but I did not finish the game (he did not take the bone :O), but it's staying pretty cool.

I loved the music and atmosphere of this game! i think you created something really interesting here. The only qualm was that it was difficult to understand what to do next... Either way, keep it up!

This game is too adorable. I love the little camera movements and the animations! I don't really understand the purpose of singing but I love it anyway. Only complaint is that the music seems to cut at weird times and it kind of breaks from the atmosphere. It's also a bit repetitive but maybe it's just my opinion.
I wish it was longer!

Great atmosphere! Agree with the note about music but overall a good experience. Graphics and animation work really well. Hope you develop it further!

I agree with everyone above, the art, music and atmosphere were excellent. Games like this really depend on eliciting an emotional response; something like every bone you gather for the spirit, tell us something about the main character or have the main character think out loud to give us insight into his motivations. I would also suggest that all the fireflies spawn initially instead of having to gather them in a specific order--this would improve the rate at which you reward players as they would have a greater chance of stumbling upon one of the three earlier rather than finding just the one. Overall, great job and keep it up!

@mateusboga Cool! :) Yeah we wanted to do more with the singing, it's more like a "use" button at the moment, glad you like it either way :D We needed more time X_X but we'll create a better post-jam version >:) Thanks for the feedback!

Fantastic game honestly. I dont think I really have any problem with aside from maybe feeling a little annoyed about not being able to find those tree stumps after continually searching but its a very minor gripe. Excellent stuff.

That was so nice  Ok, I spent the five first minutes just wandering the whole forest because I hadn't talked to the well dude, so I guess that's why I didn't see anything! Then I talked to him, spent another five minutes revisiting everything and then I had my first bone ^^ To be honest, I didn't even mind, it's such a pleasure to just walk among the trees singing :) Absolutely great job!

Very cool, definitely has a "Journey" vibe and love the idea of singing to find your way. Nice music as well!

Amazing art style and atmosphere. As said before, remembered a lot "Journey". Unfortunately I couldn't find any bones. I was just wandering along the scene. I think the game miss some indications where and what we had to go and do, but overall it's a good game.

Great job with that art direction, very well made. Gameplay can get real boring real fast, but that's not the point, I guess. Reminded me of an iOS game called BestLuck. Cheers!

really nice game, art and sound are great. for it was just a little confusing about the goal. I manage to get all 3 bones, but I was wondering around for a long time until I find them. I'm not sure if the wisps light up as soon as I got close to them or if need to be in order.
anyway, some tips along the way would be nice (the in the Brave Movie)

This is fantastic! I love the art style and the use of bloom/fog. That along with the music creates an amazing atmosphere. The player animation is very fluid and you made great use of the theme. You really created something special here. Very impressive - excellent job all!

Enjoyed the moodiness. Being a collecth-a-thon some challenge would have been nice. Platforming, maze, puzzle solving. Now it was just an aimlessly running around. Have found all the bones quickly, though. Not sure whether any parts are proceduraly generated as you run around.

The character reminded me of Eva from Wall-E, but in more of Ori style. :) I hope you will create some larger game in these settings & with this character, it's beautiful.

Very adorable little experience! I think most things have been said already but I'll give you my take on them. The art is beautiful and well done for its simple style. The audio is very lovely but a little repetitive. For footsteps you're just alternating between two tones of step. What we've done in the past is set it up so it's one sound that randomly gets pitched within a range every time it plays. That way each footfall feels unique and it doesn't drone on. I loved the music but it felt like it was looping a little too often. With a game like this I think you could get away with something like an ambient wind sound and have a few different piano riffs fade in and out and layer on each other somewhat at random to make the soundtrack always feel unique. Gameplay wise I think it lacked a little direction. I wandered to the edge and then went around the entire perimeter looking for anything before finally stumbling upon the camp. I like the singing mechanic and I think that you could use that to help guide the player. Maybe when you sing it sends out a little firefly in the general direction you need to go (probably on a cooldown to prevent spamming it, or maybe there are fireflies around the map you can pick up and use as charges for the ability? Just spitballing). That would also help with coming back because I almost lost the camp again after going to find the bones. Overall though good job. It seems like you guys are wanting to work on it postjam so definitely go for it! It's fun to polish up something when it's so close to being done. Anyway, good job!

@rhoka Wow, what a thorough comment :) I totally agree that the gameplay lacks direction, like, *literally* :D Speaking of which, I especially like the firefly direction suggestion

We're currently implementing an orb system that can be used for some fun stuff like combat etc. So we're moving from the "just collect stuff" gameplay
