An Error Occurred

On a rainy sunday afternoon all you want to do is play that game you bought some time ago, but never got around to playing. You make yourself comfortable and try to start it up, but something goes wrong. You are stuck in the loading screen and have to find a way to complete the loading process by fixing things that went wrong.

The game is a short puzzler with a secret, observe your surroundings and you may find it.

We are strongly recommending using the Windows version and not WebGL.

Controls

The game is controlled by mouse and keyboard. Left mouse click to interact and WASD or arrow keys or a combination thereof to move, once movement has been loaded successfully.

Thank you for playing and we hope you liked the puzzles.

We got three Textures from texture.com. We have decided not to opt out, since the majority of graphics were self made. Please consider this during rating.

Definitely can relate to errors happening at every part of the code at the last minute when trying to submit my game :^)

Fun little game!

Nice game! Took me a while to figure out I had to look down in the beginning. I got stuck at the jigsaw puzzle but that's just because I'm stupid. Really like it tho, this would be great in VR!

Short game but really cool, I had a hard time finding the 3rd digit of the code end but I ended up finding it in brute force, then I recommed to look for it and I understood where it was: P

Awesome take on the theme, would be interesting to see ti expanded further and turned into something similar to Evoland.

Great game! It fits the theme better than any other LD45 game I have played, I love how you literally have to 'create' the controls yourself. I really liked the puzzle aspects, but the 3 by 3 grid was too hard for me lol.

Really liked the variety of puzzles, especially setting controls at the start. The game looked good and the ticking audio of the gears was really nice. I found the tile slide puzzle a lot harder than I think it should be though because I had to keep looking from the board itself to the buttons. A larger screen size and/or an example picture would've made it a lot easier but overall I do really like the idea and it's been implemented really well.

Original idea, I had a great time playing your game! "Wiring" the controls is the best part :D Good job!

I appreciated the humor of the admin reset puzzle. I had noticed the '7' at the beginning, but didn't even recognize it as a 7 because of my orientation to it!

What a great idea. Excellent use of the theme, and I love the idea of wiring everything up. So many fun twists and turns!

Game is great. Nice and stylish.
But the 3x3 puzzle suffers from one problem - you should look down on arrows, then up to puzzle, then down to arrows, then up to puzzle. After 40 times your eyes are not happy :)
Got the bad and good endings, despite that!

Very cool - I like the development of the story and the slow revelation of things to mess with.

On the part pictured, though it's a cool device to have the physical thing, being able to move the pieces with cursor/wasd would be less frustrating, as you can't look and move at the same time ( or maybe that's the challenge? )

@wolf4d @johnnysix I am glad you liked it and thank you for your feedback :) We recognized the mentioned problem during development and had some ideas to fix it but ran out of time to do so. With more development time this would definitely be a place of improvement
